The store is a great addition to the area as it has a surprisingly wide range of products and there's always special offers on.

I've marked it down because the over zealous security there make it plainly obvious they think I'm up to no good as they sometimes, not very covertly, follow me as I am shopping which makes it quite a stressful and embarrassing chore.

I live in the area, really enjoy the local business, but this is never ever to good standard. The biggest issue is the cash machine, if you giving a service do it probably. This is the 5th day in a row that machine is not working and when you tell the staff in their they are like I dnt know is not my problem or is been reported we can only do that... if the cash machine has a logo sainsbury's then it is thier problem to solve the issue. The other problem is when ever they have offer even that early in the morning is always finish, why put a cheap price and do not put the product available.

They are more expensive than the larger Sainsbury's at either Lee or Lewisham you can add an extra 10p to everything in your basket. I would say the store is well packed however its not. You possibly won't find what you are looking for and I guess .... you know what save your time energy and brain matter and go to Lee or Lewisham Sainsbury's. least then you'll find what you need at the right price.

Poor attitude of a member of the staff here. Instead of questioning your customers for products that were paid, why not checking first for the transaction made or check payment on the machine used. Another alternative if you guys don’t want to cause this bad moment is that stop putting the chance to not print the receipt so everyone can have the receipt when it’s required, which is totally fine, it’s understandable, but there are some polite ways of asking people and not making them feel accused for something. That is a terrible mistake that I can’t take. I’ve been buying since I moved in the area and the staff were so nice so that made me keeps coming to use this store, why not keeping the good service from all the staff?

I came into the Sainsbury's store today with the intention to buy a few things I needed. I picked up one item, but then noticed the long queue for the checkout. I anyway needed to visit a convenience store and so put the product back down and left the store. On the way out the security asked me if I had taken anything and I told them I had not. I then went to the convenience store. When I was in the convenience store the Sainsbury's security guard came bursting in and aggressively accused me of stealing from the Sainsbury's. I assured him I had not taken anything and explained that I had put the product back down before leaving the shop. I did not have a bag and it was clear I did not have the product with me. He demanded that I came with him. The man was intimidating and had already caused a big scene in my local convenience store. I was not only embarrassed and offended that I had been accused of shoplifting but was also very intimidated by the man. I was scared to leave the shop and I sensed he call the police as I did not feel safe. As soon as I mentioned the police he left the store. I was shaking with fear and the shopkeeper had to reassure me. I was scared to walk home from the shop. I have always found my local Sainsbury's to be welcoming and with friendly staff. I was shocked at the aggression and intimidation from the security guard. I am genuinely nervous to return to the store.

Sainsbury's Locals are slightly more expensive than the full size supermarket, and this shop is no different - but you pay for the convenience. Selection in store is pretty good, it's clean, tidy and all around a good place
