Tesco Express

Pretty standard Tesco, they have fast moving que's and an easily navigated store. They also have free fruit for those shopping with children. They do have trolleys in store but don't ever seem to work they are there to serve as a tease will you inevitably grab two baskets anyway . The store itself has great deals on fruit and vegetables you can sometimes get three types for a steal.

True sometimes the shelves could be better stacked but I actually find it better than Waitrose in terms of selection and availability. Much cheaper as well. Staff don't wish you a great day but never found anyone to be rude.

Very rude assistant today on the self checkout station. I asked for help to read the bar code from fruits and she told me the numbers are big how you don’t see them… ? I explained that i have problem with my eyes and her answer was - so how do you walk….I can’t believe people like that work there..

Can you tell me why Tesco Unsmoked Bacon Medallions are priced at £2.70 on Tesco website and app and in other Tesco stores on 17/03/2022 but Highbury Corner Tesco sold me for £2.85

Heck Chicken 10 Italia Sausages are priced at £3.00 online and app or other Tesco stores on 17/03/2022 but Highbury Corner Tesco sold me for £3.45 in store

They used to be better. The one problem with this place is they dropped the 30p mini gems. Used to be a bargain for 250grams. Such a sad reality for what I’m sure used to be such a great place.

Bring back the 30p MINI GEMS!!!

8am and there is never any meal deal options on the shelves. The shop is always full of staff members loading shelves at the busiest time of the day? Why is it not done earlier? Makes shopping here very inconvenient.

The club card never works on the self scanning machines, the place is always so busy and there’s never anyone to assist. Keep missing out on club card deals cause the machines won’t scan the card. This has happened with multiple people I’ve been with with different club cards that work on other machines in different Tescos

Used to be better when it was a Metro. Often sparsely stocked, and they’ve completely stopped stocking some of the basics, like chicken thigh fillets. Fortunately there’s a decent Waitrose opposite! I do have to say the cookies are often decent here though, which isn’t always a given.
