Sainsbury's Local

We are having to self isolate due to living with an extremely vulnerable person, therefore, we are unable to go in and out of shops. We were running low on a few items, so I called Sainsbury’s and spoke to Hassan and explained our situation to him and he went over and beyond to help us. He gathered the items that we required, put them in a bag and dropped the bag outside for us, took the money and came back with our change. He doesn’t realise how much he helped us and we cannot thank him enough, if anyone deserves a promotion it definitely should be Hassan.

The one star is for Salem the manager , who seems to think it’s ok to allow one member of staff Caroline to work on her own while he stands in store on his mobile phone laughing while the poor women is trying to run multiple areas , I am greeted most morning by Caroline when I get my coffee , she is always soo professional and really gets to know her customers , I can get a better coffee from the high street but I go to your store to see her and her customer service , Saturday afternoon , one staff member ask yourself if that’s right ?

Update , I recently went in and I see a new lady manager that helped this individual, the manager actually could see she needed help and offered it , That’s an improvement but I’ll keep watching this store on a Saturday morning because Caroline has always been lovely and she needs the support , and just for your info she doesn’t know me or asked me for this post , this is a long loyal serving customer wanting to improve his local store, once I can see the improvement on a Saturday morning I’ll remove the post the first post 👍🏻👌🏼

Food choice is good .But staff towards service is bad l just went to buy something went to the counter .the staff Patrick said only self service .but after sometime two more customers went to buy cigarettes for them he gave counter service . This is discrimination. Next time winter use counter service .

its an average Sainsbury's, not the biggest selection of food and drink, but the bakery is fantastic. It does a good job when you need to quickly stock up on bread milk and eggs.

The manager and the security guy who stealing the people's for nothing I said check the cameras and ignore me no good be careful everyone shed shop

Friendly staff & opened till late which is very handy. Oh and the fresh baked goods are delicious 😋

Good place to buy quick grocery, dairy products like milk, eggs, bread and ready to eat meal.

Very convenient store , friendly staff always welcoming , Saleem the manager was very friendly, I always see him pulling the cages or stocking the shelves. I wanted strawberries which was out stock on shelf, he went inside pulled a cage out ,help me with strawberries which was right at bottom of the cage.
