Iceland Supermarket Downham

Purchased some fresh chicken today which was supposed to expire 15/09/2022 I had to bin it as it smelt odd this is not the first time purchasing chicken that was this way made me feel sick. Don't feel like the staff are putting them away properly as it's now another occasion 😒 never buying fresh meats from here again only frozen meals

Really only do a freezer shop because some of the fresh stuff never smell great when you get it home taken milk back before or not got a long date on some of deal stuff don't on 3 for £10 get home charge full price shouldn't have to check before we leave the shop

Very much enjoyed my shopping trip plenty of stock and choice, clean and tidy .
I did notice not much stuff on the shop floor.

But nice place for shopping 👍

Frozen fish is good priced (when bought three packs) but the store gets crowded at times and it becomes hard to shop and queue up for payments.

I just bought a great steak here. The big daddy 16 oz rump steak. It comfortably feeds two and the cooking instructions are perfect. Aside from steak...Great frozen range, friendly staff.

Very happy with my visit. I got 99% of what I wanted AND got a 10% discount because I'm over 60 and went on a Tuesday. I used some of the the money I'd saved on my bonus card too.

Truly awful shop, food is often expired on the shelves and in home deliveries.
Timed slots are "an approximate estimate", and Iceland reserves the right to turn up the following day if they feel like it.
What a joke, go to any other supermarket.
