West One Food Fayre

Was in town for the Grand Prix and staying at the Marriott across the street. Stopped by to buy a bottle of wine. Didn't appreciate being followed around the store as if I were a thief (really, you decided at 7:30pm to restock / rearrange items on an already full shelf?). I guess 'shopping while black' is a thing in London too. Disappointing.

I had to call police because of owner’s rudeness and service. Be very careful with him. He usually wears hat and rude than anything. His name is Mohammed Gulraiz Malik is the owner of the shop. He tried to keep my parcel hostage. Did not explain what I need to provide. Soon as I called police then he explained. He knew what he was doing. I would give no stars. Man is super rude!! His colleague helped after and that guy was so much better. Explained everything. Report it so everyone knows abt him and himself to learn some manners and lessons

Rude staff, no greetings nor "thank you", always on the phone. Not friendly nor professional, with no consideration for costumers.
I won't be there ever again.

Do not buy if you are a tourist.
Prices are too high even for London. Charges double of supermarket.
Rude service.

Rip off charged me double what the sticker said. Hope he goes out of business

I popped in to drop a DPD parcel around lunchtime, and the man behind the counter said the box was too big.

As the box was very light but cumbersome, I good-naturedly asked him if there was any way he would accept it. He immediately became loud and aggressive, saying he worked here and knew what boxes he could accept.

What was shocking was the lack of customer service - I was so obviously a polite, friendly person and all he needed to say was that he regretted not being able to help. But straight away he overreacted, shouting with a furious and quite scary look on his face. You could see he enjoyed being rude and making life difficult for me.

The Coop in Portland Road accepted the parcel with no problem, so it was apparently not an oversize item that DPD couriers don't accept.

I will be taking this further with DPD as they list this shop, which in fact is useless. I will also speak to the admin team in my company, which is very close by, as they often shop in West One Food Fayre - I am the finance manager so will make sure they don't spend company money there!

One of those places that seems to sell the most random and old school bits. Has your basic top facilities for gas etc. Shop keep is a bit standoffish but as long as you don’t need his help then it’s fine.

I had a package sent there, the customer service and behaviour of staff was absolutely disgusting. I gave proof of ID, bar code and described the package. He made an excuse that my name did not match the delivery name and address, I literally presented the order and delivery address. Also I called the delivery company and they said as long as they give the code and a proof of ID they should give the package.

Do not shop there or send packages.
