Lidl

I was at the self check out and i entered 2 cookies and was about to put in the rest of my items but then it said assistant needed i was fine with it,and an assistant came over then put all the items,i asked to put a few things back and i originally had 3 brownies and i put 2 away but then the assistant put 2 brownies left over even though it was one. It was only 69p but it bothers why i should have paid extra.The assistant was rather short with blonde hair in a ponytail with lash extensions .

better prices than lots of supermarket's, free car parking and some good offers. not the greatest fresh fruit and vegetables though. Cheapest wine around but not as cheap as Lidl in Greece €3 for a 1.5 litre bottle of wine.

Everything is always where I can find it, the staff are generally pleasant. The only change could be to improve the cleanliness of the toilets, which generally are of poor standards at most lidls I visit.
Love the Lidl app and regularly prefer Lidl for hassel-free shopping.

Luv the place 😊 but soooo annoying getting parking tickets for 10-15mins over etc I know it’s easily remedied but it all takes time and quite worrying to get these parking notices ( think this’ll be my third) the store is so full of interesting stuff you could spend an hour in “the middle of Lidl”!!
There surely must be a way round having all the time you need as a customer ! 🤷‍♀️

Reasonably busy as would be expected nearer Christmas, plenty of food stocked up in all the shelves, freezers and fridges, nothing seemed out of stock. Staff were stocking up the shelves as I shopped, not too big a queue on the tills operated by staff, I used the self service till which was empty at around 10am . Managed to browse around the shop at my own pace with no problems with over crowding .

A good sized Lidl's. Often a long queue at the tills due to a shortage of staff. Self service machines not user friendly and you can't take trolleys to them as too many items for the machines. Several other supermarkets in Hornchurch. It would have been better if they would have refurbished the cinema.

A massive Lidl with good, free parking. A great bakery and lots to offer with a big middle of Lidl section

Excellent place to find obscure brands of "artisan" gin not often seen in other supermarkets.

Highly amusing "Middle of Lidl" aisles piled high with all kinds of random end-of-line joblots and leftovers that you wouldn't normally find in a supermarket - this weekend's specials at the Hornchurch Lidl include hedge trimmers, lawn strimmers, inflatable mattresses, pull-along suitcases, and swimming kit. Apparently they've even had socket sets and angle grinders in there one week. Think of it as supermarket lucky dip because, "once it's gone, it's gone".
