Marks and Spencer

It's not my favourite branch. I only pop in for top ups of tea and other essentials. It's difficult to get help in the food section and displays get moved around quite a lot. It's nearly always busy so queueing even more the self serve cash out is pretty long. Most irritating is the fact that my bus stop has been moved so exiting laden with more than l thought ld buy is no longer a convenient process.

Cut Profit not Material !

I've been shopping at M&S since I was a teenager in the 80's and the standard of clothing was exceptional back then. Now standards have dropped and M&S are cutting down on fabric. I bought a pair of classic fit blue jeans recently and there is at least an inch of material less on the leg, see the pictures. I have placed them against a pair of M&S brown jeans, both classic fit and same size, 36 inch waist, 31inch leg. I purchased the brown jeans a few years ago and you can see the difference. The only good things they do now are Underwear and Food.

Went into the store looking for some dress trousers. Came across one of the most helpful customer representatives ever, Shazia. Not only was I greeted with a smile but she was very patient as I am very picky and all in all she gave me an amazing shopping experience. I will be visiting the shop again as I wanna experience that level of service again.

This M & S had a good selection of lunch food items. I could exercise and then grab some food to eat in a nearby park. The food had reasonable price too. There were also other things in the store. Fun to walk around in the store before my classes.

I love the foodhall in this M&S. They always have items in stock (like cote de boeuf and german frankfurters) which I struggle to find at the Westfield London branch. Well stocked, clean and convenient.

The branch is not one of the biggest, but they offer a wide variety of high quality products. The only problem I came across, the soft drinks are poor and they have almost no beer to offer

Am so gratefull to Pam and Tina at hammersmith branch, whom helped me find the perfect fitting and comfortable bra. I've always found it difficult to find the correct fitting. Well I thought it was correct. But from Pam and Tina's explaining what is perfect fitting bra has has made so much difference. Thank you ladies once again for helping find the right size and comfort bra.

The customer service in this store is absolutely terrible. Absolutely do not shop in this store there are much better retailers where customer service is second to non. Went in for a refund as item was purchased online, only to find it was then reduced. I decided to keep the item and asked the cashier to refund the difference and that I would keep my garment. She informed me that this was not allowed even though they were selling the garment in the store at discounted price, however did not have the correct size. In theory I could have bought the garment in store (if they had size) and returned one I bought online to get the difference back. They do not have this made up rule in writing anywhere nor is it visible in their T&Cs apparently different stores have different rules and it is discretionary.

What kind of nonsense is that !!!!
