Lidl

Awesome, good value supermarket. Can be hit and miss with products because they don't always keep the same stock, but that makes it a bit more interesting. There are some products I can only get here and some products I can never get here, so I shop at Lidl first and then if I need to, I top up at Asda. They have huge selection of Christmas products in already and they are very similar to (the more expensive) products at the bigger supermarkets.

Greengrocery shelves had been hit hard, quiet low on stock. Other areas seemed similar but not as bad. Only one guy on shop for stocking shelves and he seemed hard pushed. I think I heard a customer ask for something not available on chilled cabinet and he responded it would be another half hour. Obviously a very busy shop, but we did get through checkout fairly easy.

Visited your store today and found a lovely young lady called Kate. Extremely helpful and pleasant. I have to say she is also very hard working . Every time I saw her she was doing something. Unlike some! She deserves a promotion . In my mind she is the one holding that store together!!! Thank you Kate for amazing service!!

Good value supermarket and with 2 aisles of practical non-food gifts usually good quality & value, not sure how it works but seem to be one-off quantities, once gone is gone, so it's easy to make impulse buys!!!
Main thing I want to say is how genuine & nice & friendly several of the cashier staff have been, really appreciated our interactions.
Lidl also has an app with a loyalty card and vouchers with money off various food items which need to be activated, and only valid for a few days, & requires scanning the QR code at the checkout.. if you spend a total over a certain amount, accumulatively, in the month, there are money off vouchers , eg spend £200, £10 voucher off available to activate next time you shop :)

Sick and tired of the empty shelves and fridges. Several times recently they've had no basics - milk, butter, canned tomatoes, cereals deodorant etc. all out of stock meaning a trip somewhere else. Time to switch to Aldi

Nice shop conveniently layed out and has a rest room for customers parking can get a bit full at peak times,

A typical Lidl supermarket that you can find anywhere in England but this one is a bit larger than average. Alas it doesn’t have self checkouts which means popping in for a couple of items can take some time

It's a better Lidle which actually has a toilet for customers. Parking always easy but needs more disabled bays.
