Tesco Express

I've never reviewed anything before but wanted to acknowledge the great customer service from all the staff at this store - from the Security Guards to anyone serving on the till or replenishing the stock. It's really noticeable.

It's always busy, situated in an awkward position, with their fair share of people coming in trying to nick stuff, but you wouldn't tell by their attitude.

Proud to call it my local and my go to for bread and milk!

My local and I've seen the best and worst of it. Most of the time staff are polite but have been rude on occasion. One night I got there a few minutes before closing and was told very rudely by security to be quick (was only picking up a pint of milk). Can have good end of day deals and decent discount on things. Not the biggest selection and isles are quite tight. Ok for what it is.

There are a lot of boxes on the floor especially in the mornings or there's almost always someone mopping the floor so you feel like the shop is not fully operating or ready for clients.What is more you have to deal with unhappy staff with no energy or desire to help. You also have to check if they charge the correct amount as sometimes they will overcharge you. But as there is no any other chain store nearby you have no choice but to go there from time to time.

Hand you back damaged notes as change (folded so as you do not notice it initially) and subsequently do not accept it back in return as payment. Disgusting! On a side note many staff are not wearing masks during the pandemic and allow in customers who do not wear them also,

Just moved to the area and the staff are lovely, very polite too. It’s quite small though !

This place is where the revolution is going to happen after you enter the bakery section and eat some croissants

Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of the manager (Bruce) and the rest of the staff!!!!

I've been going here for almost a year and have recently moved nearby so it is my local now too, and I love this shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful and kind, there's a good selection of food and household necessities, and it's neatly laid out.
