Great supermarket. Nice and small. We often have to queue for parking but it's a great place to get your shopping and get home quickly. Till move quickly so you have to be a whizz at packing. Always friendly staff. Happy to help.

I was shocked after seeing footage from a recent investigation taken from a Lidl supplier farm in Germany. I won’t be shopping somewhere with such appalling animal welfare. Lidl France have already pledged to stop the use of fast-growing chickens in their supply chain: why won’t Lidl GB do the same? Other supermarkets have signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment Act: therefore I will shop with those stores instead. A supermarket cannot be 'big on quality' if they fail to meet basic welfare standards for animals.

If I could give 0 stars I would!
I am so shocked and appalled after seeing footage from a recent investigation of a Lidl supplier farm in Germany. I will certainly not be shopping here knowing they have such appalling animal welfare standards. I have seen products in my local with ‘EU Chicken’ on them so I can only assume it's coming from this farm!
I will be shopping with supermarkets signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment. Big on Quality does not mean vile treatment towards animals!

I won't be shopping at Lidl after seeing in a recent Times article how terribly the chickens they sell 'live' on its supply farms. They're bred to grow so fast that they often suffer deformities, can't move and just lay in their own waste getting chemical burns. As the fastest growing supermarket in the UK with huge profits, I am sure Lidl can do better for their customers and for the chickens. Until then, I won't be going there.

I have seen seen the awful footage from a Lidl chicken farm in Germany and am really upset that this is happening and that Lidl in the UK clearly value profit over animal welfare. I would say this is the opposite of "Big on Quality".
I looked in my local store and I could see that the their frozen chicken products are packaged in Germany using ‘EU chicken’ so I assume they came from this farm.
Please do something about this, it is so horrifying. Other supermarkets have better standards and I will be shopping there until this changes.

Cannot believe my eyes. I knew that Lidl gets its chicken from Germany - as listed on the packaging - but to see all the horrific images in The Times about how Lidl treats chickens. I will not shop here again until they treat their animals better.

Young man called ayan was extremely helpful and respectful. He helped my aged mother pack her shopping and also carried it out to the car for her. Amazing customer service even though the shop was super busy. We were very well looked after. The whole team is very welcoming and friendly, even though sometimes their facial expressions show they are under pressure. Never the less they always do their best to help. Car park is always busy and it can take forever to find parking but once inside the staff always try their best to help. Very good experiance and i always prefer it iver other super markets.

A decent sized shop with a good amount of parking. I was able to get what I needed with minimal hassle. The queue at the tills were long, but they quickly opened up more lanes to help with the volume of customers.
