It's alright, no complaints except for the drinks, which are ludicrously expensive. I can get a monster or red bull at esso for £1.20 but in tesco its like £1.60.

After one store, found this another store in which you will get everything what you want.

People who come from abroad, must visit Chester central UK, all stuffs you will get here.

Readymade pizza is tasty if you have facility of baking it at your hotel.

Staff are lovely. Well stocked. Wish they sold more value brands and not just the expensive ones. Staff are good though, I must say.

I went in Tesco on Pepper Street today and was disgusted how dirty it is. At the cashpoints there were finger prints on top of finger prints smeared where you put your groceries to be scanned. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week.
It is atrocious and extremely hygienic when ovid 19 is rife.
This store needs disinfecting and scrubbing ifrom top to bottom in the interests of health and safety.

Could be useful if shelves had more stock on shelves

I live a couple of minute’s away from this store and the same distance from a co-op. I normally use this store when going to and from the city centre. I use the co-op when walking the dog as by the river and on our route. Today my dog took me a different way and through the Roman gardens so ended up by this Tesco. Needed to buy bread/milk and a few bits. Looked on the door to see if there was a notice to say ‘no dogs’ there wasn’t, so went in. Was immediately told by a guy stacking shelves that I couldn’t go in. When I said I looked to see if there was a notice he said that he didn’t need a notice and that he was the manager and could do what he wanted. So I left, never to return ever, for anything. The difference between going into the co op where they welcome dogs and even give them treats, to this rude man’s reception were poles apart. I get that some shops don’t want dogs in and that’s fair enough and if there was a notice to say so I wouldn’t have entered the shop. Or even so,if it was politely pointed out that they don’t want dogs in the shop I wouldn’t have a problem, but the attitude of this guy was just awful for somebody in a managerial position. I really thinks he needs some customer service training and a few manners.
