City Express Limited

These people are so rude!!! My parcel was delivered here and i made two trips to pick up my parcel and unfortunately the shop was closed. I then called them a couple hours later to ask for their opening hours so that I could collect my parcel and all i got in return was a lady responding in such a rude way. When I told her that I made a trip to the shop on a Sunday, she said 'Well i worked till 5am on saturday so i didn't open the shop on Sunday I need some sleep as well you know". I was also told " our opening hours are 10am-11pm are these not enough hours for you to collect you parcel". When I went to collect my parcel later on during the day, I told her that she was so rude to me for no reason and i asked her to apologise and she didn't. This was the worse experience ever! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PARCELS OR ANYTHING!

Nothing but lovely things to say about the mother and daughter that run it. Yes their opening times may be a little sporadic but they are always welcoming and interested in how I've been doing.

Let's not forget to mention the plants! Pretty much decked my whole house in their unusual and well looked after plants and they will always give great advice on after care for them.

All I can say is this is a fantastic shop not just for you're everyday needs but that little bit more too :)

My favourite local shop that offers everything I may need. I love visiting City Express, they are always friendly and helpful. I buy my plants from them because they are healthy, well taken care of in-store, and fairly priced. I will continue to support City Express and highly recommend their shop to anyone in the area.

Do not visit this place. Especially do not use DPD here. The woman is unbelievably power happy. My parcel arrived with my initials instead of my name and she flat refused to give it to me. I had the QR ticket, the addresses matched and I had my passport. It was crystal clear that it was me and she outright refused. She wasted 50 minutes of my time. I had to call DPD twice to get them to call her, presumably they misunderstood the first time because of how ridiculous it was. She should not have access to other people's property. She should not be in a position where discretion is required. If you happen to pass just spit on the window as a sign to others.

The old lady was really rude for help you to pick up your parcel, even she did not want to find your parcel properly, and just mentioned DPD took away. I even did not want to give a star, I regret that i did not see the review before. It was stupid mistake to choose here as pick up point

DO NOT USE FOR YOUR PARCEL !!! Same experience as the reviews below... The owner said DPD took the parcel away but DPD says no driver came to collect the parcel. I wish I had seen the reviews, I would have never used this shop as a pick-up point.

Same experience as others regarding dpd collection. Woman was incredibly rude, bossy and threatened that she could just not take the box etc etc and told me off???????????? Would suggest using another pickup point, and I rly hope she gets her dpd license withdrawn (if there is such a thing)

DPD Incompetence to name this place as their pickup point, they cause so much grief to people, it seems that the lady does not know how much trouble she causes with her incompetence. DPD should remove 120 old street City Express as their local centre. That should be investigated. The lady just refuses to collect parcels for some reasons which causes problems for the local community and families.
