M&S Simply Food

Great store with the usual high quality and extensive range one expects of M&S Simply Food. The store is on the small side, which makes it a little difficult to actually spend money at times as it gets very busy. Best time to shop is around 9am.

Definitely time M&S extended the premises, which shouldn't be too difficult given the amount of empty retail units that come on to the market.

I think it's high time M&S expanded the Simply Food concept and opened more stores as it sure does make for a nice experience if you're familiar with the likes of Tesco Express but the stores are too few in number.

The shop is too small , not enough room to move about. I went to collect an item from customer services. It took them nearly ten minutes to find it. I kept saying it's only a very small package. She just ignored me and was looking at all the big items . She didn't bother to look behind a couple of box's where my item was on the shelf . Poor customer service. Also not much in the way of choice. Everything is there own brand.

Handy as I only work around the corner. Great if you have run out of milk, nice friendly staff, I would not try to do a full shop there unless money is no object! Good to have a shop like this at the hospital, although small it does the job.

Shop a bit dark and depressing. It doesn't feel like a M&S. Small and has a cramped feeling. Not like a normal M&S. Which are normally bright and spacious. I think it is the ceiling that effects it too. Which seems very odd in a Marks. But the store has a fair range but not all of their products. So very handy.
I hear a full size M&S is opening in Cleveleys. I hope it is true. But as I say this one although small is handy.

It's Mark's and Spencer's. Lots of lovely food, needlessly overpriced. I mean the prices aren't horrific but they're completely disproportionate to the additional quality, relative to literally every other food shop in the area.

I am a regular customer but 99% of the staff including managers are always unhelpful. Today I complained about something, no resolution was put forward rather the unhelpful assistant just went straight over to the manager (who had also been unhelpful) as I left and had a laugh about the matter. They can clearly find the time to chat and have a laugh but when I asked them to do something that would have taken 10 seconds they refused. I am now an ex-customer

Love this store, staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. A good selection of foodstuffs for a small store

Went in Tuesday lunchtime end of April to get a snack. At checkout middle aged male cashier all over customer in front who spent £60, very friendly and polite. I spent under £5 but am a regular customer however I didn't get acknowledged, no please no thank you, no eye contact. I have a customer service background of 30 years. He needs extra
customer service training, treat all customers the same. Shame as all the other staff lovely.
