Shop was OK. Needed a lot. Got to self checkout waited for a cash one to become available. Started scanning then asked if the machines took £50's. The staff member said no but I can change up for you so I gave her 2! 'Oh I can't change 2'
? Er why? You'll have to go to customer services to change 2. Again why? She mumbled a reply so I said your not making sense! She walked off.!!
B***** ridiculous my shopping was £90. EVERTHING has gone up £100 is nothing to spend. Not impressed with Asda policy or member of staff. Thank god I don't shop there often.

I visited today around 12 noon.
I had a heavy bag of soil to load into my car boot. One of the male staff who was collecting trollies was extremely kind and helpful and volunteered his assistance as he saw that I was struggling. If only more people could go above and beyond. I believe his name was Mical. I wanted to express my gratitude. I hope his line manager conveys this to him.

I was told by the kiosk that filling a motorbike whilst standing over it was 'Against the Law'. My motorbike does not have a centre stand. The truth is that it is NOT illegal.

I REFER TO HSE: Case 319 - Motorcyclist told to remove helmet and get off the motorcycle whilst refuelling
Issue
The enquirer, whilst refuelling a motorcycle at a filling station, was asked to remove their safety helmet before the pump was switched on. Then on another occasion they were asked to get off the motorcycle before refuelling. The enquirer wrote to the supermarket filling station CEO requesting an explanation and was told this was for 'Health and Safety' reasons.

Panel decision
Requiring motorcyclists to remove their helmets at filling stations is not a health and safety issue. It appears to be a measure to discourage and prevent fuel theft. This is understandable but the filling station should be clear about the real reason.

Requiring motorcyclists and passengers to dismount and place the motorcycle on its stand during refuelling is a sensible measure which is stated in the Energy Institute's guidance on petrol station refuelling. It enables better control of the refilling operation, reduces the risk of spilling fuel on clothes, high temperature parts of the motorcycle itself and on the forecourt. A clearer explanation by the supermarket of the logic behind both of these requirements would have been helpful.

Good To deal with staff and re. Got always a plenty of stock. Very easy to get Asian stuff and halal meat. Parking is downstairs and shop is upstairs - escalator is available.
Plenty of safe and clean parking slots and electric charging points.

Hi
Just been into this store this evening. Thankyou Emily In the cafe.
So lovely helpful & friendly.
Great food & service. She goes the extra mile & makes you feel special.
We were concerned we may have over stayed in the carpark as we met people/ friends & chatted while doing some shopping.
But Aleesa? ( sorry if miss spelt your name)
What a Star. Got on the phone & sorted out with manager so we don't get a fine.
Thankyou soooo much we really appreciated your efforts.
You were so kind helpful & went out your way to help & settle us before leaving the shop
Thankyou again. What a sweetheart

Sheerwater cafe is the best. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Mark is a great person to be fronting this store. He is not only polite and helpful but has a great sense of fun which is infectious. Today I had soup, roll and a cup of tea for £1.00 - it was lovely and don’t know how you do it but as a pensioner , I am very thankful. Well done

The staff here are incredible. Prompt response to my father in law falling, they couldn’t be more helpful. All the staff I met are a credit to the brand. The cafe is neat and tidy, staff here are also really friendly (try the chocolate cake it’s insane), you can tell staff really care when they talk to you.
The manager of this store has fostered a great spirit amongst the staff, this store is a shining light amongst Asda stores. It’s the benchmark.
Thank you for the prompt response with compassion and practical solutions. The first aider was also on hand in a flash. It was an impressive thing to see, staff working in tandem to resolve an unexpected event.

Don't shop here if you want customer service. I asked an assistant if she knew where I could find an item. She said she didn't know. I asked if she could find out. She shrugged her shoulders. Definitely a store to avoid.
