Many, many thanks to the amazing staff, especially Linda, who took such good care of us when my husband was taken ill in store. Many thanks also to Mary. We are home now and he is recovering.

Website says they have toilets but they were locked shut. Turns out they are closed after 18.30. This was not stated on the website.

Obstructive staff,
Lack of product variety,
Poor dates on fresh produce,
Routinely changes isle layout making navigation of store a stressful experience.

A large Tesco with everything except the odd speciality item. Always kept clean and the staff are very helpful. There is a small very convenient parking lot behind the Tesco for folks who live on that side, near the train station. It only became full very occasionally. The front lot is very large with a gas station.

Tesco Bury st Edmund's never has any stock in the shelves, lots of gaps and empty cardboard on shelves. Shopping there is a nightmare as you can't get what you want and have to go elsewhere. I am a Tesco worker myself at another, larger store and I refuse to shop at Bury now unless I absolutely have to due to it always being a wasted journey and having to go to sainsbury to find what I need!! Never known a store like it! Staff are always kind and helpful, but the state of the store and its shelves are shocking.

Visited here 27/12/22 and 30/12/22. The ladies toilets were dirty with no toilet paper as most of it was on the floor. Today one cubicle was closed as out of order and both days the middle one wouldn't flush. Today it also had a wet floor, so we had to wait longer for the one working cubicle.
I was told the men's wasn't any better.
Clubcard offers that were displayed did not appear when paying, so I can only assume that the signs were left up longer than the offer was on. No staff seen near the self-serve tills to query the price with.
