Waitrose & Partners West Byfleet

Staff are friendly and helpful, unfortunately stock or lack of it is a big issue; the shelves constantly look under stocked with certain popular items almost always being sold out. Update 28/01/20: lack of stock remains an issue, no idea how they will cope once the new housing development opens. Staff are still amazing, cannot fault their customer service.

The security guard that is in on a Monday, I believe his name is Rob has made me not want to bring my children or nieces or nephews to this store. I overheard a conversation that he was having with a colleague that was in the wine section. It seemed like a normal conversation at the start as rob was asking the person what their favourite alcohol is, so the person responded with their preferred drink is. Seems normal to any bypasses. Rob then told his colleague that he gets 16 year old girls drunk in his hotel room with the colleagues proffered drink. I think this security guard really needs a look into as he is a danger to underage children. The poor colleague was disgusted by what the security guard said and shut down the conversation and left the department. I felt uncomfortable hearing it, I wonder how uncomfortable the poor person he was having a conversation with felt. Every time I come in the store on a Monday, I don’t see that poor person anywhere near that security guard.

Very well laid out store with helpful staff. Just prices are a bit high.

Good variety of items,friendly and helpful staff.

Very noisy trollies( the ones the staff use to distribute the food) . Can someone fix this please? Couldn't relax,so got milk and left the shop.

A little understocked when I visited but staff were replenishing...

As a vulnerable person I have just started to shop again. I was correctly told Waitrose West Byfleet have all the right precautions in place which are implemented in an efficient and friendly way. I felt safe.
Waitrose home delivery services have been supported us for the last 18 months very efficiently and fairly. A very reliable service.
As always the the staff are so helpful and welcoming and must be congratulated for continuing to serve us throughout the pandemic. Thank you.
