Sainsbury's

" eat well for less" is an empty slogan...
As empty as the shelves of this dated shop today.
Sainsbury's sends special offers but products are missing as many other cheaper options
This shop does have staff but no one seems to care or help to replenish the shelves
No wonder Sainsbury's is not doing so well
Or is this supermarket turning into a Soviet type shop?

Nice well stocked sainsburys with Starbucks. Nice to be able to sit and have coffee after a shop. Good self scan section for ease. Toilets are available and there is lots of disabled parking.

Saturday mornings are super busy, but they only run 3 or 4 checkouts and let the queues build to six deep. Self checkouts are useless for big shopping trolleys.
The queuing takes longer than the shopping.

Here early for a coffee regularly as the starbucks is convenient. Very surprised that all key car parking spaces close to entrance are taken. Assume its the staff using the spaces. Surely the staff should be asked to park further from the entrance? Making it easier for customers to park closer. Blocking up key spaces for 8 hours or so (assuming normal shift pattern) seems very customer unfriendly. We are in winter months with the cold and rain already making it a struggle.
Come on Sainsburys, for sure provide provision for your staff. But what about us customers?

Not sure of it's just our local area but Sainsbury seems to have gone down hill. Recent food purchased not of great quality and the sandwiches are best avoided. I made a complaint about a sandwich earlier in the year and just got back a standard reply, 'it looks like you are after a refund, please contact the store... '
What I was after wasn't my £2.50 back it was for an improvement going forward. The customer service team didn't quite grasp this even after a second email....
Sadly Sainsbury is now my last ditch option to go to.

Was so happy that the member of staff helped to find the Bazuka

The staff in this Staines-upon-Thames, The Causeway, are so friendly and helpful. They moved things around a few months ago, and I’ve had to ask where to find things. Every time, the staff member has walked me to the product, and asked if there’s anything else they can do for me. Hats off to this great team :)

To start with there is a split level carpark with half of it underground. Great if it's raining as it keeps you and your shopping dry.

The store is very large with a great selection of groceries, home stuff, clothes and much more. The store is well laid out and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
