Right in the centre of Guildford, by the bus station. Excellent range of products: I shop especially for Korean and Japanese food and drinks (in the smaller shop), but I also often go for Chinese counterparts. They also have some choice of alcohol - I myself am a big fan of plum wine - and very nicely stocked freezers. In the bigger shop you will mostly find food stuffs from other parts of Asia and Europe, as well as kitchen utensils, chopsticks, crockery, etc. As in every shop, sometimes you can find out-of-date products, just check your dates and inform the clerk if you find something wrong, they are always happy to help. I like the place, I visit them every time I am in Guildford.

So glad this place exists!! My husband and I stock up on natto and kimchi here. Also non-MSG instant miso soup, nori for maki rolls (10 sheets for about £2 vs 5 sheets at Tesco). They've got all the Korean essentials - shin ramyun, jjapagetti, gochujang, ssamjang, rice cakes (sadly these have wheat flour though), dried squid, they even have beef slices you could use for quick and easy kbbq at home, various snacks, pocari sweat, various east Asian teas. Reasonable prices for being in Guildford. Was so sad to find out the other place had closed down and was worried there wouldn't be another store that sold kimchi nearby ... but phew! Great selection too, far better than I expected outside London. The other half of this store (on the other side of the record store) has really cool interesting foods too. Addicted to Mama instant rice noodles. Husband says halva sold there is way cheaper and bigger there than you find at fancy/health food stores. Also the bags of spices are a steal compared to what you get for tiny jars at the big chain stores.

Small interior shop selling mainly Asian food that cannot be bought in popular supermarkets. It has a mixture of specific foods from Korea to India that you might need in a particular recipe. Best to check their website for items you need before going there, as well as opening times. Enjoy

Been here multiple times, sometimes everything is fine, a few times I got charged for items I did not buy, only realising this when I checked the receipt at home.
Poor organisation, boxes in all the alleys making getting to items very difficult.
Appalling customer service, I don't expect cheesy grins and to be wished a nice day, but throwing a receipt at a customer is just rude.
Honestly, with my experiences here I would much rather drive to another town then come here. Doesn't even deserve the one star.

After recently finding a love for Chinese food above and beyond takeaways I came across this shop. There are 2 parts to it, the Chinese Taste and the Asian shop both full of amazing ingredients to make Asian food which is better than the takeaway, easily at home.

They don’t list out the prices for every product in which it is very confusing. I also bought this pack of Calbee crisps and it was already expired from a week ago. (27/11/2020 the day I bought it) I am very disappointed with it as they did not mention anything when I bought the product.

Quite small, very crowded. A little bit difficult to find what you want.
