Tesco Express

Used to be a nice place to shop, but recently it's gone downhill. There always seem to be cages of stock blocking aisles making it hard if you're disabled to move through the store.

Often rubbish on the floor, slip hazards and the self service till is pointless as most items you put through require the assistant to verify.

Inconvenience store.

All of the chilled ailse blocked off again for restocking, when asking get to meals the young blond woman rolling eyes, again!, asked me abruptly "what do you want?" when I stated I needed to look at the nutritional information. Makes me feel like I'm inconveniencing her, most definitely not happy to help. Pre-lockdown she will be sat on the floor with all the food to be reduced on the dirty floor whilst she blocks the ailse slowly reducing the food.

2 x staff filling shelves were very rude and lacked manners. The ladies however, were very helpful and polite. Not my first experience of the 2 being rude either!

I find it very cramped not much space. Its only a small shop. I don't use it very often only if I'm in that area.

To small and cramped for the amount of stock that is crammed in here. Aisles are narrow and it can be difficult trying to get past other sellers who have stopped to browse products. Not especially clean in places, some shelves were grubby and the floor hadn't been wiped in a while. Great for desperation purchases but certainly not a first choice stop I would visit.

Usually a good experience for a quick shop for one or two items you have run short of. They mix offers around for Tesco Clubcard holders which can be significant for individual items. They have their own Costa coffee machine inside. The staff are friendly and helpful.
