Waitrose & Partners Wellington

Absolutely lovely place to shop. Very friendly and helpful staff...George on the cheese counter went the extra mile to find the right cheese for us. Then we had the lovely Christien on the checkout who sang... It makes such a difference to have such a personal feel when shopping locally. Well done Waitrose Wellington.

Although generally higher priced than other supermarkets you are guaranteed to find a great selection of fresh produce. Love this outlet. Great staff, all friendly and very helpful.

Ayer several years using this supermarket in Wellington, Iwas horrified to be challenged by a very officious lady, accompanied by a burly thuggish looking man, security?? Not sure, never identified himself. The reason? I had just had the temerity to put an item of shopping in my handbag, having picked it up After it had been through the till. I was told I wasn’t being accused of anything, but judging from what here peoples body language and stance, I clearly was. Since when has it been a crime to put an item if bought shopping into a handbag?? No questions were asked about the stuff in carrier bags, or items bought for the food bank. Funny that!! I was left feeling humiliated and accused. This woman had not spoken in a quiet tone. I was & am thoroughly disgusted.

Very good Waitrose, albeit on the small side. Well stocked with everything you would expect, large car park with free parking and plenty of plants and flowers to choose from as well featured at entrance. Deli and meat counters still an option which is great. Large wine and spirits stock compliments this store nicely.

Waitrose often surprises us with some of the offers they have as you almost have an expectation for them to be quite expensive.
We regularly buy their cheese as they tend to do stronger strength cheddars than many other supermarkets and these will often be sold at a discounted price.
They also do more varieties and flavours than others too.
They sell some lovely flavour Florentines (the white choc lemon ones are a particular favourite) they sell this brand at around 25p a box more than others but discount them better, which is when we stock up.
Same with their chocolate as they have branded ones in flavours we haven't seen elsewhere, so we like to go to Waitrose to try new things.

First time at the Wellington Waitrose. We had a very good experience there. The staff were friendly and helpful. We found everything we wanted. We shall shop there again when next in Wellington.

Unfortunately the store did not have the product I was wanting. Despite 'canned pumpkin' showing as available on the website. However the staff in the store and at customer service were very helpful and apologetic.
