Lidl

Is simple and useful.
Not for posh people. But even posh people are coming here sometimes.
5 stars from me. Here in the U.K. in France and Portugal Lidl is always a reason to smile. Good stuff and affordable.

Some years ago picked Aldi in preference to Lidl as I found it bigger, cheaper and had better centre isle offers so a recent unplanned to Lidl left me surprised. Found it brighter than I remembered, much better stock range, just as cheap as Aldi and sometimes cheaper. Will visit more often as a result of that visit. Did not actually buy anything as place was packed with long queues to checkout so next shop will have to be at a quieter time
As well as being frugal I am also impatient

Its ok.....but WHY they only open 1 till out of 4 i dont know.

Produce is good selection, and not too pricey on some stuff big supermarkets sell

Not taken with the setup of this supermarket. Difficult to find stuff. Not a very good selection of anything too. Trolley was a weird shape and size too. Won't be going back.

Great store and love the self service tills , makes shopping easy

Great value for money. Worth every cent of money 💰 i do like the bakery special after 7 pm there is discounts on it 🫡 so worth it. Salmon 🍣 good

What can you say about both LIDL'S or ALDI'S? Magnificent produce, by and large and lovely staff, whether here or the continent.
