Tesco Extra

I honestly don't really know what I can say about this place. It's nice,has everything you need and the staff working there are very nice. I love the idea of 'scan as you shop' as it really saves time so I reccomend you start using it if u haven't already.

Large Tesco supermarket. Amazing staff. The one Tesco I have visited where staff really have been helpful and actually had a personality. I feel like the recruitment process here is of high standards! A very large car park with free parking and petrol station. The store seems pretty organised.

Only go for the petrol. The kiosk doesn't open until 6am but you can pay for the fuel by card at the pump. The shop is just above the petrol station and that also opens at 6am. These are two different places.

For a store this size I was amazed to find that they DON'T have pork dripping nor birthday wrapping paper ,when I went to do my shop.

Was charged too much on one of their deals, the woman at customer services sorted it immediately and refunded the error. Give the people who staff that counter a raise, the shop was incredible busy and they were running around sorting everyone's issue in a flash.

Staff not paying attention to customers. Won't be gping back Lidl or Aldi are far better

Very few checkouts are working even on a Saturday morning. By far the worst shopping experience of the local supermarkets lately.

As of Dec 2021, something odd is going on at Tesco. The staff are still the best bit of the store, but they're way more stressed, way more short-tempered, and a lot less available. I don't know if they've lost staff and not been able to replace them, but the store is suffering. It shows in trolleys not being put in the right place in the evenings to staff scrambling to restock the often empty shelves to the place looking dirty and unkempt. It's really sad to see, the store used to be fantastic. It's still worth going though, they're cheap and the staff really are the best people to deal with.
