Went to Norwich Rampant Horse street for some new place settings (and some excellent food shopping). All the staff great as usual but the two young gentlemen in the Home department on 26/07/22 were especially helpful and supportive as we selected our crocs. They made the process very pleasant and ensured we got our heads around the car collection system, excellent experience and the plates and dishes are brilliant.

M&S have a decent menswear section covering everyday essentials. You may pay a bit more than in the budget shops, but that's matched by the quality.

There's also a compact food hall, featuring a decent selection of lunch items. And a cafe on the ground floor, which is nice and spacious.

The staff are always courteous. And there are a pair of lifts if escalators aren't accessible for you.

Large store and will generally have what you need if what you need is an m&S item. Has a decent well lite little cafe too and located right in the middle of town.

The first floor cafe is absolutely shocking at the moment.Queyed up 30 minutes for a large decaf Latte and after eventually being served was given a regular Latte!
Needs two baristas when busy, many tables not cleaned and cleared and to many students who were ambling about and in no urgency to get the queue down. When are the management going to make some improvements here this has been going on for weeks, shame on you M&S

Came in on 05.10.2021 to have look at the Halloween food. Not a large selection but enough for one evening.
Was delighted to see some Christmas chocolates and gin!
Sale is still on upstairs on 2nd floor (ladies wear, Per Una section). Didn't really look but there are lots of winter coats and boots. This shop is so handy as it is open until 8pm every day (except Sunday).

The Food Hall is Excellent.
Good all the time, but if you want to browse, best visited outside lunchtime, when it is heaving with people buying lunch and at school closing time, when it gets in the youngsters looking for snacks for their journey home.

Left an expensive scarf at one of the fitting rooms and only realized half an hour after leaving. Called the lost property department who refused to send someone to the room to check, insisting that there was a “process” for lost items and to call back the next day to check if it has been handed in. Decided to show up the next morning, went first to the fitting room where the attendant said no scarf. Went to lost property who also confirmed the same. Was about to give up and walk out… but I just had a feeling I had to go back to the fitting room to insist and triple check... lo and behold, the scarf was sitting in the back room, in PLAIN SIGHT. So much for the “process”!

Huge shop, only problem it is very difficult to find anything as it is made up of several shops joined together, which makes it difficult for anybody with disabilities to look around the store, as there are small flights of stairs to the various levels, also not much store layout information, limited lift availability, huge store but needs a serious look at the way produce is laid out and not higgledy piggledy.
