Been in for the excellent dine in for £12 - waste of time, hardly anything all in one chiller cabinet. Sides comprises salad or broccoli.
Spoke to young boy at checkout . He couldn't have cared less.
This also happened the last time the dine in deal was on. At least I got an apology that time with an explanation that the ordering system was playing up. Whether that was true or not at least the member of staff placated me.

Looking for small cakes and fancy biscuits for a small gathering at home for our 'Knit and Natter' afternoon. The knitting is of squares to make blankets to send to hospitals in Africa. I bought cinnamon palmiers, salted caramel teacakes, fruit cake and little meringue topped cake - all small enough to try one of everything without feeling guilty

Hi, myself and my husband stuart were in marks and spencers in your Dumbarton store, I just came out of hospital so i wasn"t feeling all that great, The shop was quiet busy so i didnt want to be in there any longer than i had to, So after getting the shop me and my husband went to the cash register, The guy behind the counter stevie was a true gent with a big smile and some kind words as he seen i was a bit under the weather
and i was was very tired , Some of the shopping went through ok but the the poor guy was having megor issues with the till as some of the items wasnt scanning so after a while he seen me getting agiitated he calmley apologised offerd me a seat again very professional but i said no and just took control of the situation the guy stevie eventually sorted out the issues with the scanner and had to put through the the whole shop through the scanner again because i waited so long he gave me my bunch of flowers for free which were in my shop i thought that was a lovely gesture the guy was so polite professional
so thank you stevie and good on you marks and sparkes for having people like that working for you xxxx

I don’t know what to say really. The shop is laid out exactly as you’d expect an M&S to be laid out. However the cashier gave us a dour look of absoluteness, it stunned me. Suddenly I realised exactly the reason why; we are not Dumbarton residents. One thing I learned from this trip is that the towns near Glasgow do not accept outsiders. I was an Alien.

Shella in the food collection was very helpful friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you very much.

Excellent selection of high quality products from fresh vegetables and fruits to meats, fish and freshly backed pastry. I absolutely love their Sourdough bread its always fresh and absolutely 🤤 actually one of a fewer places that doesn’t use rapeseed oil. Thumbs up 👍 to that.
The Store is very well stocked, clean and organised, browsing around and finding what your looking for is easy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
As for parking and accessibility, plenty of parking spaces around.
* Over all, great quality products reasonably priced, friendly staff, excellent shopping experience.

I went in on my small mobility scooter, took ages just to get in the door, in most aisles there is no room to pass even a trolley as the aisles are very narrow, even had to keep reversing to get around the corners, mentioned I needed help to a member of staff and he just grinned and walked away, atrocious place to shop if you are disabled, left in tears as I felt I was just in the way.

Always friendly, polite and helpful staff . Handled covid very well. If busy I always find they open a till. Wish it was a slighter bigger store with other markies stuff like homeware.
