Tesco Express

In terms of Tesco’s , city road is perfect. From this express there is a Tesco metro six minutes up the road and another express six minutes from there. You’re never more than six minutes from one! This particular Tesco is the nearest for me, and so great for picking up the odd thing here or there when I need it, or when I realise I’ve forgotten something on my way home from Lidl. If this Tesco doesn’t have it, the aforementioned Metro up the road probably will, so not much of a loss.

Overpriced some items my more than £1! Open at 6am but have little stocked until mid afternoon as the staff are too busy chatting. 2 homeless people outside beg aggressively tesco do nothing. Better off going to the spar a few shops down

Rude staff, mostly chat amongst themselves. Black cashier hits on any female with a pulse he's creepy! Overpriced as students don't realise they are being ripped off. Under stocked with out of date goods. Bakery food left uncovered for days.

Overpriced for example a bottle of orange juice will cost 1.10 in a larger store they charge 1.40 here. If you are getting a basket of items these extra charges add up quickly. And looking for something decent to eat is virtually impossible it's all junk food. You much better going off to the 24 hour spar up the road which is cheaper and has a much more diverse range of food including groceries you would not see everyday.

So here's my thing: I love Tesco. Sometimes I don't even need to buy anything, but going up and down those aisles is a real home from home experience. Do I think everything is as cheap and good value as, say, Morrisons? Not convinced, but I hate the uniforms there so you won't catch me dead in a Morrisons.

I’ve Just popped in there for some odds and ends didn’t have much of what I needed but the staff are working very very hard stacking there shells and the fella behind the counter was laughing and had a big smile on his face. Under the circumstances thank you to the staff at Tesco’s City road.

Very expensive compared to other Tesco outlets.

Unproffesional staff! The guy by the till was one man from INDIA , try to keep me £1. When I ask for the recet , he give me quikly £1 and the recet. Very DISSAPOINTED today with 134- 142 CITY ROAD TESCO CARDIFF SERVICE... ALL THE BEST !
