Asda Caerphilly Superstore

This Asda is a big superstore groceries and home and kitchen supplies also clothes. I haven’t used the dining area so can not comment. There is a large car park so never really had trouble parking. It’s conveniently located with a petrol station and car wash on site.

went in with the intentions of only buying some snacks but came out with a cheesecake, two cake slices and a cupcake from ‘the cake shop’ - the woman behind the counter - who i believe said her name was Noia? - was so so lovely and was the perfect example of great customer service!

It was not busy which was good, there's never enough small shopping trolleys. Staff are always pleasant.

Visited the cafe, ordered the breakfast deal advertised as 6 breakfast items, toast and coffee. Turns out it’s only 5 items, toast and coffee. Toast was cold so the big lump of butter on it wouldn’t melt or spread properly. Wooden cutlery not the easiest to use.

Its clean and tidy full of stock loads to choose from, clothes for everyone electrical goods, there a cake shop and doughnuts outlet a Starbucks drive thru in the carpark, my only complaint was that there are items not marked up, asked a member of staff and was told not their department but there was someone around to help me, no one around so went elsewhere to but the items

Absolutely appalling store. Will be raising a complaint to ASDA also.

Was bare faced lied to by Asda-Caerphilly around bottles of Prime.

Asked if they had any, response was no but could actually see them behind the desk and told they were held back for a staff member. The Manager then tries to justify the lie and that they should be sold to staff first. Embarrassingly for them, as I was looking for the manger, a tannoy call for a member of staff came over the store and when we went back, the bottles had gone and had been “paid for”. Yes paid for quickly by staff and hidden away so they couldn’t sell to members of the public. No decency from the manager, staff happy to lie to customers, appalling.

Curiously, this drink is being re-sold on sell on sites such as marketplace and eBay for double the price (also, easily located around local large Asda stores?) so clear what some store staff are doing with it.

Looks like I’ll be paying double price this year then.

Will never shop with these liars again.

Visited the Cafe at 12.10, went to order lunch to be told there is nothing left except pizza or sausages. I could understand if it was later in the day but not at the start of lunch time

Over £23 worth of food missing from online order.. whole carrier bag forgotten.. No explanations or refunds. Tried calling the store and was met with a recorded message telling me to go online then it hung up on me. That'll do for me Asda
