Iceland Supermarket Bridgend

Iceland in Bridgend may be small but it packs a lot into it. It sells virtually everything you could ever need frozen and some fresh and cupboard food.
The store is tight to get around but is easy to find what you need as it's all labelled clearly.
The staff were very helpful in finding something I couldn't find and it was no trouble to answer some of my questions.
They sell frozen Gregg's, TGI Fridays, Harry Ramsdens to name a few and have big name breads available too. We like Iceland as it has a great variety of products at a good price.
We usually get home delivery and that service is fantastic too, nearly always having everything we need. We always manage to get a slot that suits and we feel like we are a valued customer

I've not long moved to Bridgend Wales so finding the local icland was great, on entering the store all the freezers was blessed with great offers, staff was helpful plus the lady on the till serving us was very helpful in telling me how to change my address online. Very good amount of selection of meal deals and weight watchers meals. The store was clean & tidy so accessible was good.

Love the logical way that the store is organised.

It doesn't seem I'm getting anywhere with trying to talk to someone on the phone. Monday I was due a delivery and the driver turned up with none of my delivery, told me to rearrange it and walked off, I spoke to someone at the local store to rearrange delivery for Tuesday and no one turned up or even called to let me know, I have booked yet another delivery for today but absolutely appalled by the lack of communication

Got what I needed, good choice, great offers. Staff member I spoke to was lovely and we had a nice chat. Thank you

Checkout service was human and efficient. Offered free same day delivery on shopping too

Ordered online for delivery and our time slot was 9pm - 11pm, delivery never arrived. Tried so many times to contact the store but always got a busy tone. Contacted customer services who also tried to contact the store, same result. 2 hours after 2nd discussion with customer services, finally received a phone call.
"I can get your order to you between 5pm and 7pm, do you want it" was what we were told by a "duty manager". No apology, explanation as to why my shopping which cost over £200 had not arrived or is this time convenient. When I asked what had gone wrong all I got was "don't know I wasn't in, I have text the driver". I asked to speak to the store manager and was told he/she isn't in, even though, surely this is the busiest trading week just before Christmas. Management (if that's what you can call it) in this store needs reassessing as something is clearly wrong. Absolutely dismal; no communication and horrendous customer service(considering it was a duty manager).
