I don’t usually shop in Tesco’s, however, we fancied a different supermarket this weekend.

My review isn’t aimed at the shop itself but in particularly the Cafe.
I took my girls in for a light bit of lunch prior to slugging around the shop and honestly can not praise the 2 ladies working in the Cafe enough. They didn’t ‘have’ to carry themselves with the professionalism and enthusiasm of which they did whilst serving us but both ladies that dealt with us really went above and beyond. What was supposed to be a quick bit of food before shopping was made into an extremely pleasant experience.
The food itself was lovely and the staff were phenomenal.
It’s heart warming to see people having such pride in what they do.
People make places.

(Unfortunately I didn’t catch the ladies names but this was roughly 13:00 on 01/05/2022 for any management that may overview the account)

Pleasant staff and usually can find what i want.
My problem is that it upsets me to see there plants dying from lack of water.
Wanted to buy a bougenvilla plant but all were bone dry and dying.

My experience at Tesco today was both pleasantly surprising yet unfulfilling. I entered Tesco today with the sole intention of purchasing a Pecan Pie. I spoke to Craig, who provided excellent insight and customer service to help me with my potential purchase. Unfortunately it was brought to my attention that Tesco doesn't stock Pecan pies. Instead I had to settle with two all butter pain au Chocolat. I highly recommend that Tesco stock more Pecan pies in future and hire more bakers as Craig also informed me that they are few and far between. I would love a response from Tesco in regards to the Pecan pie and baker shortage, and would ask what steps they are going to take moving forward to resolve this dilemma.

Sincerely

Dan Evans

P.S Craig deserves a pay rise.
Big up Craig.

The store wasn't too busy, plenty of room in the car park, the facilities were clean. There's a nice selection of products with some reasonable prices.

Plenty of low price deals on items out of date on the day reductions always a great help to buy and freeze or have on the day. Well laid out and planned supermarket and always someone nearby to help if you can not find something and go out of their way to help find a product. Great food in the cafe reasonably priced and lovely staff.

What a place this has become!
Don't sell fresh meat, don't sell fresh fish, stopped selling cd/dvd!
What's next. WE DON'T SELL FOOD?
Tesco you are a waste of space!

Strolled over this morning as opening time stated as 8am on website. Got there to be told by a cleaner that the store won't be open until 9am. Very poor management.

I always find Tesco to be a little more expensive than the bargain supermarkets but there is a much wider range of products especially when you cook from scratch. The store is always clean, there is a traffic light system at the door & people who shop here have a greater adherence to social distance rules. I've also found a good range of houseware, clothing and entertainment items
