C K's Supermarket and Post Office

I gave this one star as I couldn't give a minus score. Visited yesterday to pick up a few items. Good looking store, nicely laid out, good selection of products. Very impressed with the in-store bakery, and loaded up with 'goodies'. Making my way to the chilled dairy section, a female member of staff screamed out to another employee, who was at the other end of the store, 'IS THIS YOUR SNOT RAG IN YER? I looked to the area that the screaming lady was indicating, and yes, there was a used tissue adorning the cheese section. She then left it artfully in place, and walked away. I inturn replaced all my goods in the bakery section, as not knowing which department she worked in, I didn't want to take my chances at finding such 'gifts' within. Such a shame that a staff member can totally destroy a companies reputation.

Brilliant Supermarket in a rural area. Sells most everything in the lovely location of Penclawdd. Ideal for the locals and holidaymakers alike. Staff were excellent and the Supermarket so clean. Good experience hope you find the same on your visit.

The bakery at the back of the store, has a superb range freshly-baked bread each day. Two worth mentioning are; Chia seed loaves and Corn Bread made using Maize flour. I have tried both and can fully recommend them. They are now under the Co-op umbrella, and carry a full range of normal supermarket items.

I was impressed with this little store.
Brilliant range of essentials.
Ready to eat pick up lunch, hot and cold food available. I had ready to take away hot chicken and my husband had hot pasty all very good. This store has a customers toilets.
Disabled and family parking.
Good range of baskets and trolleys.

Brill. Got loads of new Christmas things in that jewellers. It's gonna give me another hour in the pub this year instead of trawling round Swansea. Give it look. Well worth it.

It's only a biggish general store .......but.....has the Best fresh baked bread for miles around.

Amazing big shop, not what you would expect to find in a small cockle village. Lots of items and food, including for personal and holiday use. Conveniently located round the corner from GG's ice cream Parlour and the fish and chip shop.

Just don't eat the meat as its bad...owners be done a dozen times for bad meat,or off meat....leave it alone,your guts will thank you for it
