Tesco Superstore

Staff friendly & helpful. Store always clean. However, their stock leaves alot to be desired at times. Unless you are there within the first two days, Special Offer items are unavailable. Supply & demand guys. And plenty of times certain items I have needed have left me facing an empty shelf 3-4 weeks on the bounce. Unacceptable. Aside from that, the prices are pretty good compared to Morrison's. And their own brand items are not too bad. Its not a Superstore like there is in Haverfordwest but you should still be able to get the majority of what you need here.

Worst experience of our holiday, and certainly the worst Tesco I have been to. My little girl bought some Tesco brand sandles a few weeks earlier and the strap snapped off so she couldn't wear them. We took them to this store and the shop assistant told us we could exchange them for another pair up to the same price. While we were choosing the manager came to the cashier and said, No, we will have to pay for the new shoes as we had lost the receipt. She inspected the shoes saying they looked too worn, making us feel like we were criminals trying to con Tesco. We pointed out that they had to have been bought this season which started a month earlier at start of summer holiday. She said, any way they weren't bought from this same store, and they aren't prepared to lose the £8 to another store. We couldn't believe the amount of fuss and argument over £8. The manager was very rude and loud. The assistant looked a little sheepish and apologetic but backed the manager up all the way. We were very embarrassed and eager to leave the store but had no choice but to buy new shoes. As we left they made a slightly snarky joke of, look after that receipt this time!

Nice Tesco store. All the staff are local and helpful. Store is always clean and tidy. Should have been a bigger store due to the number of people in this area.

Good supermarket in Harbour town, with good stock at most times. Friendly staff, close to the Marina for visiting sailors.

Good food stuffs and helpful staff.

The store was fine but the disabled toilet was a nightmare. I had to move two bins out of the way in order to transfer from my wheelchair and the red EMERGENCY cord was tied up and inaccessible.

Also, despite there being a large Covid sign telling you to wash your hands using soap and water for at least 20 seconds there was no soap! An exhausting and frustrating visit.

Good value with lots of choice
