I'm loving the Asda rewards app . First time I've used asda points system. This app is clever I spend more because collecting the stars and cashpot is addictive. I love the George clothing range. Ideal for my 3 children who continue to grow . Sunday I bought a skelenton and spider for Halloween. The quality is really good for the price

Been waiting a very long time for wheelchair trolleys. I had an email from corporate telling me that trolleys would be there last Saturday.

This has been going on years. Went today. The store had no idea this was said.

I wasn’t very pleased with service I received in store today. I visited the shop with my daughter and grandson and whilst we were going through the self service till the customer sales assistant on the self service tills came to verify our age for some items she never said a word to us all the time she was there and when she finished she never even said Thankyou. Very rude indeed. I also bought 4 soya milks and was told I could only buy 3 as there was a limit on all their essential items. This Is ridiculous for families that are on a budget. They say they are helping families on low income but having a limit on these items obviously doest support what they are saying. I normally shop in aldis but thought I would pop in for a few bits and bobs. I’m afraid il wait next time and get bits in aldis too. I can buy a whole tray of soya milks there. Not a good experience from start to finish.

Shop here often but this morning put my shopping on belt to be told that I cannot have the usual 6 cartons of milk at 69 p. As package changed to yellow, from a cream colour, so its back to farm foods for my milk where I can buy dozen boxes at once.

Ordered food to be delivered from Asda in brynmawr over 2 weeks ago that never showed up, got in contact with them and they said one of our neighbors must have taken it in and said we would have a full refund in 5-7 working days. Thought that’s was appalling considering our shopping came to almost £100 and we had to wait. So then the money never went in called last week and they said the refund was still going through and they would chase it up. Only to have an email today to say we won’t be receiving a refund because the shopping was delivered to someone even though it wasn’t to our house. So basically they are saying we can’t have a refund even though we never received our shopping just they can’t prove we received it only that it was delivered in our area.

Today i was in the store just before 9pm for a kettle and some shopping. I chose a kettle and decided a new mug would be nice. When i was browsing the mugs i noticed a mug which had a sticker saying "reactive glaze". Id never heard of it before but sounded like perhaps the glaze would change colour with heat. I googled it and its just a style of glaze so not as special as id hoped. As i continued to browse a security guard appeared from nowhere and came right into my personal space and asked me and my partner "what are you up to lads?"... i responded with "what does it look like? I'm clearly shopping"... They then said it looked like i was peeling stickers off items, "I've been watching you on the cameras". Of course there was no proof of this as it hadn't happened but instead of checking when in left the aisle he somehow found it necessary to over zealously do their job.
When i asked them do they ask every customer that question they replied no which obviously made me feel extra special and this appeared to be a case of "i don't like the look of this customer so im going to make them unbearably uncomfortable". they then shuffled off and i was left standing angrily. The member of staff didn't even have the decency to say sorry, they walked off as if how they had just acted was completely justified.

I had planned to shop too but i just didn't feel up to it after being so rudely interrupted. Both me and my partner found it very intrusive and demeaning to be asked "what are you up to lads" as if its okay to assume peoples genders (we dont identify as lads thanks, were neither young nor do we identify with male pronouns) and furthermore to get in peoples faces just for browsing. I'm sure asda put things on display for the customers to see and in some cases touch before buying but what do i know?

Its not my first experience with security at Brynmawr asda. I seem to be a magnet for unwarranted questions from over excited security staff who think its okay to approach me while im heading inwards of the store and have literally done nothing wrong or suspicious. I'm just another customer who spends a hefty amount on groceries and homewares but never mind that, treat me like a stereotype of other not so valuable cutomers that frequent asdas.

I headed to the front desk to speak to manager on the way out who in all fairness manager was polite and apologised but also it felt a little back handed because i was told "its his first week, he's just trying to do a good job, we have a lot of thieves" (and somehow i apparently fit the profile if that's the line of excuses)?

Take away: Don't profile customers, don't let customers and let them know you're watching them on the cameras as it highlights it and makes customers uncomfortable, don't get in peoples personal space regardless of your suspicions and have the decency to apologise yourself instead of having your manager do it for you if its you that acted irresponsibly. Also approach people with proof not just assumptions and make it clear what that proof is, Thinking you're seeing something is just not good enough and doesn't constitute a reason to speak to the customer like dirt, make gender assumptions and so on, Its asdas not a nightclub full of drunks. Most likely customers are just inspecting products or labels and that's completely normal.

Good range of products accept 3 things. There's plenty of young boy clothing there but there is barely a good range of mens. And as for the games. Today I've tried to get a game that is about 20 odd quid but over there is a fiver; never said its out of stock on the price tag but when I went to the kiosk was waiting for about 5 minutes maybe more only to find out that they don't have a disk for the game, it happened to me many times in the past and I believe it happened to other people. If its out of stock, put the out of stock card on the price tag. And couple of weeks back when I went there, there is this one member of staff that was pushing a stock trolley in the snack isle, since its a narrow isle I got out of his way and he didn't bother to say thank you.
