Blue Fish Swim School

Carina has taught both of my children to swim, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My daughter has cerebral palsy, sensory issues and is on the autistic spectrum, but loves being in the water. She finds fine and gross motor skills much more challenging than her peers but under Carina's patient instruction she has achieved so much more than we ever expected. My daughter is both confident and safe in the water, and has also achieved numerous badges. Whilst my son was much more straight forward to teach, two other swimming schools had made no progress with his fear of putting his face in the water, but he overcame this quickly once he came to Carina. No matter what the child's ability, Carina tailors her lessons to suit the individual child and how they are progressing. I would recommend Carina to anyone looking for a swimming teacher - in fact I have!

My son has been swimming with Carina for the last few years and he has come on amazing from not being able to swim to confidently swimming many different strokes and gaining his swimming badges and certificates, my daughter is 3 and has just started and Carina is fantastic with her. I am so happy that I found Carina, my eldest had been doing swimming lessons somewhere else and wasn't progressing. In the 1st term of being with Carina he progressed extremely well, his confidence in the water just grew and grew. My youngest son loves his lessons and the intense courses with Carina, even when he struggles Carina is always being positive and really encouraging.

We have been swimming with Carina for years and the children are always happy to go to their lessons; their progression and willingness is all the assurance I need. It’s great to see them at the end of each session without distracting them during lessons
So glad we found Carina in such close proximity to home! To be able to teach all 3 of my children at the same time and giving them the space to learn at their own pace is remarkable, and we can see the results.

My 2 girls have been going to Carina for over a year now and they love it. My oldest is less confident and has taken alot longer to get her 10 meters compared to her younger sister. But Carina has been so supportive and understanding of her shyness and lacking in confidence in water and been extremely patient. Thank you so much.

Carina is the best instructor I've seen. Three of my children, aged 4, 11 and 13 are currently attending lessons with Carina. I had previously done daily lessons in Spain, lasting for one hour for the time period of one month and my kids didn't learn to swim. They also did weekly swimming lessons with the school in a leisure centre for months with no results. Only my 13 year old finally managed to figure out how not to drown. My 4 and 11 year old couldn't even get their faces wet, they would panic! I was desperate for them to learn how to swim when I came across Carina's school, and let me tell you... in a matter of two days I saw the improvement! My 11 year old can finally swim, my 13 year old is now learning new swimming styles and my 4 year old is getting there too!

I love that she is caring and firm at the same time. No time wasting and very affordable. I'm so happy with her that I've even begged her to incorporate some adult lessons because it's not only about knowing how to swim but also about learning new stiles, swimming efficiently and effortlessly. I really hope I can start soon!

She's just great, I still can't believe what she's done and I'll be forever grateful. As soon as my fourth baby reaches the appropriate age, I expect Carina to be her swimming instructor as well.

Carina is an absolutely brilliant swimming teacher. I don't know how she does it but our 3 children have made more progress with Carina in a year than they did over 5 years in leisure centre lessons. The intense holiday lessons are also fab for speeding up progress too. You won't regret signing up with Carina!

Under Carina’s guidance my boys have progressed from needing swimming aids to mastering strokes in under 6 weeks! They even managed to have a fun session learning about snorkels at the end of their block of lessons. We’re so impressed with how they’ve come on we’ve signed up for the next term too!
