Turned my son off swimming with constant negative feedback. Overuse of "you can't do it", "why can't you do it". Lessons weren't differentiated so my son struggled which consequently made it a challenge to get him to the lessons as he didn't feel like he was progressing. When asking to have a refund on the outstanding lessons they refused. I was so disappointed with their customer service as I've waited over a week for each email reply. Very disappointed. ☹️

It was after many, MANY years of telling myself I was terrible at swimming that I decided to sign up for adult swim lessons. I was tired of avoiding the water and wanted to try it again in a safe environment. I was absolutely terrified before my first lesson as it had been about 20 years since I'd been brave enough to put my face in the water! Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Lee and Gemma were brilliant and ran the class for all abilities (and all fears!). I never once felt under pressure to do anything I wasn't comfortable with.

In fact, my weekly swim soon became the highlight of my week and over time I realised I was falling in love with swimming again, as well as making new friends. After 7 months of lessons, I felt brave enough to sign up for a Sprint Triathlon. Something I've always wanted to do but never believed I would achieve.

It's not an exaggeration to say that Lee and Gemma have changed my life. I now take my boy swimming on weekends and love diving under the water with him. I am so grateful to them and proud to finally call myself a swimmer! Thank you.

My son has been attending the swim school since he was 4. We had tried other swimming venues but the swim school was and still is the best. Each teacher is brilliant with the children, no matter their age The feedback they get during the 45 minute lesson is constructive and helpful and you can see the progress and confidence build each week. As a parent you can watch the class and after each class the teacher goes through what they’ve been doing so you feel part of it all and know what is being done each week.
Overall a fabulous swim school and I would recommend it over any other!

Was recommended to swim school by my sister in law who’s kids are becoming excellent swimmers. My little is not even 4 and straight in the water, with just the right about of encouragement and support. She looks forward to her swimming lesson all week even though it takes her out of her comfort zone but she is enjoying learning to swim so much. That’s because Gemma is an amazing teacher which way more patience then I could ever have

Excellent swim school. My daughter went from being afraid to get her face wet to jumping, diving and swimming underwater. She thoroughly enjoys the lessons and I am happy that she is in safe hands.

The Swim School is the best place if you want to improve your technique. Lee and Gemma are super-good and fun! Highly recommended!

Excellent tutors, and well worth the wait in getting onto this course. We cover a lot in the 45 minutes, and of course I am always very hungry afterwards! Keep up the good work.
