I am an old/previous student of Master Ding, having practiced Tai Chi with several different teachers over the years. Unequivocally, both the form and practicalities of teaching it at Master Ding Academy were the most accessible and moved me forward with greatest benefit, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I would not hesitate in recommending to anyone who seeks an authentic and accessible Tai Chi practice.

They offer excellent quality internal training courses and classes suitable for beginners or advanced students. Especially for students looking to experience the real internal energy martial art of Tai Chi Chuan.

It's never too late to start !

I started studying with Master Ding 25 years ago after waving my arms about with 2 other teachers. The Master Ding Academy offers truly authentic Tai Chi taught by a world master. In every lesson the teaching is detailed, meticulous, intense and good fun. Every teacher in the academy has to continue to train and attend class him/her self, so the message is consistent throughout all the branches. Every lesson is a revelation where the learning is taken to a new level. I have been ‘peeling my onion’ for 25 years now and it hasn’t even begun to run out of layers.

It is a very rare thing to find a genuine Tai chi master; rare in Asia and even rarer in Europe, but Master Ding is 'the real thing'. He understands, demonstrates, and willing shares his knowledge of this much misunderstood art with warmth, humour and patience! If you've any interest at all the Tai Chi it's well worth taking the time and trouble to pop down to Limehouse, take a class and experience a world class teacher first hand!
