Smart Alterations

Magda and the team completed my wedding dress alterations in May for my wedding in June, I cannot recommend them enough! Their attention to detail was exceptional and magda wouldn't send me away with the dress until it was completely perfect. I felt that my dress was in such safe hands and they really cared about making it perfect, I'm so grateful! I will be back for all future alterations for other items!

I have taken a number of repair jobs to her over the last few years.
Nothing is ever too difficult or can't be done. They always find ways of repairing the items and return them looking like new.

Leather glove tear repaired, daughter's skirt zip replace, split in a pair of my shorts repaired and strengthened and most recently removed broken sprung clip from dog lead and then fitted and secured a new one (that I had supplied). The jobs are always completed promptly and to a very high standard.

I took my favourite dress which I had outgrown to see if they could make me the same dress.
They advised me to try and source the same material as it would cut down my cost considerably.
I did find the material and they made alterations for me at half the cost of having a new one made for me.
You can't tell that it has been altered Great job.
I will always use Smart Alterations for all my Alterations and I have always told my friends and family to use them.

I found smart alterations when I was googling for tailors as I had 2 dresses that needed to be altered for my brothers wedding coming up in a weeks time. I just collected them and they fit perfectly now. Magda was great at seeing what needed to be altered and giving advice on how it would look. She is also so lovely as well and you know that Magda and the team will do a great job which they did. The dresses were altered very quickly as well considering how busy they are. Thank you so much to Magda and the team. I will be using Smart alterations again for any clothings that I need altering.

Absolutely superb service! We had a truly giant beanbag - the size of a single bed - that needed re-covering, new zips, new lining etc, along with a matching footstool. Most places turned it down flat saying it was too difficult and outside their expertise, but Smart Alterations took on the whole job, making the whole item better in many ways too. Can’t thank them enough. Absolutely brilliant.
