I have been a regular customer for spice house. This time over I ordered palak paneer and mutton curry. I'm very disappointed in the quality of food served to me. The mutton was severly undercooked, very hard and completely indelible which normally isn't the case. However the palak paneer was amazing. Would not recommend getting the lamb dishes from this place anymore couldn't eat the lamb at all, me and my partner had to throw all of it away.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered a variety of vegetarian and chicken dishes. All of them came in the same oily orange sauce with very little variation of flavour or appearance and excessive amounts of sauce. When we eat Indian food in London or at Indian friends houses it is so far removed from this pseudo-Indian red slosh. Terribly disappointed. The aubergines pictured below were as much of an oily sludge as all the other dishes. If you like good Indian food do NOT use this take-away.

Its lovely to be able to have a curry for lunch . The service was good, our waitress was really friendly. All the food was flavoursome and a bit spicy which is great.

Very poor experience. I'd give zero stars if I could. You know there's something wrong when fried rice costs same as a curry. The menu is as bland as their food and a first for me - they don't do chips. The Biriyani I ordered 1 had hair in it and the other was very soggy and all we got was "I'm so sorry" but they didn't knock it off the bill - oh and we got no cutlery, maybe there was a shortage or they were washing them all
After I ordered I realised half the kitchen door was chopped off, that sinking feeling you get and think 'omg where have I come'

I wouldn't bother to give even a single star! Out of all the places I have been in my life, this place had the worst service. I am not exaggerating as I did not even receive any service. I went there with a bunch of friends. One of my friends reached 10-15 minutes before us and she was already seated in the restaurant. She attempted to get some service since the time she was seated. After all of us joined, we tried our luck as well but no one paid any attention to us. The lady was busy chatting up with other male customers. Even though the place was not that busy, they could have at least let us know that they will be attending us shortly or indicating that it would take some time. But she did not bother to look at us after very evident attempts to get her attention. My friends and I started to leave and even then no one paid attention to losing customers! Never going back there again.

We went for the first since the new administration took over Spice House and were quite happy with everything. We ordered Veg Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice.
We asked for spicy food so the chef made sure to add 1000 green chilies! But surprisingly, the taste was great. Me and my wife both loved the food and the quantity was great too.
It is not crowded anymore and thus a good place to have lunch for a good price, taste and quantity.

We had a great experience here. We weren’t sure if it was more of a takeaway place as there wasn’t ever such a lot of ambience, however, we were wrong. The chef came out immediately to talk us through our choices and was really friendly and informative. We ordered loads and absolutely loved it. The mutton curry was incredible and the mutton chettinadu (sorry if that’s spelt wrong it’s from memory) we also ordered a chicken tikka masala which I can’t really comment on as I’m not a fan of it as a dish but it wasn’t bright red with food colouring. Everything was so reasonably priced and the service was great. We only wish we lived nearby (we were in the area for work) as my husband particularly didn’t feel he’d had such a nice curry since a holiday in India.
