The Fish Inn

I lived in Wolverhampton up until 1985 and I still go back to the Fish Inn as I have not found any other shop to compare to their food in London or else where!

The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, the shop is always clean and they have very long standing customers who will not eat fish and chips from any other shop, like myself!!

Been coming here, for years and years. They do the best battered chips in the whole wide world!!! My kids , who have long since left home , still talk about these battered chips , and remember them fondly . Used to buy them packets of chips and then wander round to the park to eat them .

This place is my favourite local chip shop.it does great battered chips and the usual chippy food. Lovely, friendly staff and very good lunch time deals. Food is always tasty, fresh and served quick.

I tried this Chippy because of the Rave Reviews Online & Food Wise I was not Disappointed because I was Served Some Lovely Battered Chips which I asked for!, The Young Asian Lady Serving Me was a Little Terse/Short in Her Attitude with Me!, If i get Food to the same Quality though I am prepared to Overlook Her Attitude!.

For how much we know,in one week our family and another known family had food poisoning from eating chicken kebabs. The food tasted like it was cooked it was in old oil and i wouldnt be shocked if they hadnt changed the oil in a long time. Also, it was very dry ; the worker couldnt understand what we were trying to order.

Very sloppy food here.. Too greasy and always a sore stomach next day.. The batter is weak other fish not crispy at all like a good fish supper should be!! Swing this one a miss folks!

Me and my family have been eating from here for years and never had a problem, food is very nice and they do a lot of good offers and you get a can of drink. My favourite is the roe and savaloy and the chips are amazing and the server is a lovely lady and knows my mum and dad!! 😀

Decent food, nice people and they do both plain & normal chips.
