Kingsway Fish & Chips

The food is always hit and the service is always spot on. Cost wise I have always found I get value for money. The portion sizes are very generous so if your gingery afterwords it is your own fault.

Cod was grey and wafter thin and the chips had be fried and refried again. Absolutely disgusting, won't be coming here again.

Son didn't like his battered sausage. And when my other son tried it. He wasn't impressed either. Though chips, peas, curry sauce and fish bits that myself and my other son had were fine.

Called in on the way home. Had fish cakes and chips and mixed chicken meat and chips.
Both were cooked to perfection and tasted great.
Will come here again

Had the fish it was freshly cooked while I waited and it was the best fish I have had for a long time. I told some friends in a conversation so they went the following day and said exactly the same thing

Lunch time service chips re used in the early evening, just on the edge of edible.
Kebab, standard fare and what is expected. Decent enough salad however.

Absolutely the best chip shop in the area if not the entire country, the fish is gorgeous, chips delicious, and the kebab meats are delicious too, top marks to the owner, he works flat out, very clean and friendly, thank you very much

Definitely the worst meal I've had from a chip shop, ordered a medium fish arrived really small, chips dry and cold, peas also cold and my pie had to be reheated, 56c is not the temperature of a safe to eat pie. This place gets worse every time its sold to new owners.
