Briggs Fish Bar

Exceptional kebabs and nan, must get it from next door or something, chips are always soggy and sad looking. Delivery is usually fast and the price is more than reasonable. Five star hygiene rating.. Never been in so can't comment on the dirty remarks.

1 hour and 20 minutes was how long it took for our food to arrive. We ordered and got confirmation of the order at 17:16pm and that it would arrive just before 18:00pm. We kept calling to check in at least 3 times and were given an excuse each time or just not called back. When the food finally arrived, it was soggy, sweaty and the incorrect order. It’s a shame as we regularly order from here but we won’t be doing so anymore.

When Briggs changed hands their fish was delicious, real chunky fish, however the the last 2 times we have ordered ( at least once a week) their batter is totally burnt! Ruins the meal. May have to start going elsewhere.

I havent ordered from briggs for ages as i choose meal deals and they forget the can of pop and delivery man says will bring on next order! 3 orders no can of pop and batter on fish was well over fried. I ordered again after a couple of months and put on the note for restaurant ...please don't forget can of pop. Delivery driver made a point of passing me can of pop !! Really rude !! And batter on fish was burnt yet again. I only gave 1 star so i could leave a comment!!

Absolutely atrocious, delivered to wrong address by fault of my own but then told if I had requested the new address it would have been taken there despite the delivery driver walking away and lying about what had been said and lying to food hub by saying that I had ordered it for the person at that address, I should have been contacted when the person at the address refused the order to be there’s but I hadn’t been contacted so will not come here again, disgusting

First time ordering from here as really fancied proper fish and chips...so took the chance on this one and I can certainly say I was not disappointed.
The fish was done to perfection...not greasy or heavy batter.The chips were not cheap frozen type that some do...well they certainly did not taste it.All the family was very impressed with the meal which is sometimes a difficult one.
The young lady on the phone was very polite and the delivery came in good time from ordering.delivery guy was polite also...Thank you. .All in all was a excellent service. Recomend you try them for yourself.

Lovely staff kebab meat and chips was the best I've had for a long time! Very clean pla(I)ce and helpful, polite and friendly staff! I'd eat there everyday if I could! Not bad prices aswell!

The food is lovely. But we won't be returning any time soon. 4 people behind the counter, 3 wearing masks 1 wearing as a neck warmer. Then in come two delivery drivers.... neither wearing a mask, one of which getting far too close to customers. Didn't feel safe at all which is a shame because the food is great
