Zero Plus Fish Bar

This is by far the best place to buy your fish and chips in Canton.
they have won numerous awards for the quality and portion size of their food Keith Chegwin Awards etc.
it has a five star rating for cleanliness.
the owners are lovely people, I used to deliver their chickens to them years ago and I was so glad when I moved to the area that this chip shop was my local.
can't fault it, great potion best tasting cod and the rest of the food is nice as well.

Believe the signs and notices...it is the best chippie in Cardiff. The chips are always the freshest and clearly cooked in fresh oil. The fish menu is a bit limited....you can have anything as long as it's cod.But it's always cooked to perfection and menu includes great kebabs and other delish wares. Add in the friendliest service...why go anywhere else?

1 tip: Do not go there around 5 o'clock as you will have stale food from lunchtime.. the chips were dry and my fishcake was totally inedible! I was going to ring and complain but they knew what they were doing to give you overcooked and dry food , hence the bad review !

Twice visiting now and the chips and sausages were dry and inedible :( won’t be coming again

Always fresh chicken curry is real chicken and not prossessed well worth the money there very polite, always happy best chip shop for me

Probably the most expensive chip shop in cardiff and the food is average with tiny lortions

Always liked this place but on last visit, the guy behind the till charged me more than what it should have been. Was only a £1 but its principal. If their prices have gone then they should change them on their menu board. On that basis I didnt question it, but if they are overcharging customers that's not on. £1 extra on every customer would amount to a fair bit.
