Invited to have dinner there to celebrate a friend's bday. As Brazilian, we love Portuguese food. The dishes we chose were 5/5 in taste and presentation. Food is amazing and we had a White Sangria. The Manager is a great Host, the team on the floor is TOP SERVICE and everything is well worth any penny spent there. Special thank you to kitchen staff for preparing such an amazing food with fantastic taste. Photos below.

This place was recommended and no doubts it was a great experience. Food is tasty, service is 5*stars and the premises are cleaned and welcomed. We did enjoyed it and will be back soon. Perhaps one day, for the live music. ☺️

It is a perfect place for dinner before show at the Theatre. Highly recommend “Grilled octopus” and cod fritters.

Not so good for the price they charge. The seafood skewer smelled of old oil (the metal parts don’t get washed properly I guess) and only 2 overcooked prawns on it. The fish pieces were nice and the octopus or squid tiny. My friend ordered the Cataplan, although it was tasty, half of the clams where dead and closed. Luckily she didn’t get sick.
The rosé wine and goat cheese with orange were nice. I ordered the cheese board hoping to have queso fresco, but the waiters didn’t know for sure what’s in the board. It didn’t seem it was there. Lastly the fish tank was 1/3 empty, the water evaporated and nobody fixed it. I love aquariums and was was worried it is neglected. Hope the fish will be ok soon. It would be nice with few tweaks to fix and as we have Portuguese family we would like to visit again, provided it gets better.

I heard good things about this little place so I gave it a go last Sunday. Just wanted something to take away and I opted out for the octopus.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
Sadly I can not say the same about my dish. Octopus was hard and chewy. Potatoes weren't great either. It looked like done in a rush and without care. The dish didn't look appealing either. The overall was very disappointing.
12.5% was added to the dish for service charge. Really?
I will give them a second chance and if it was just one off, I'll happily chance this review.

Given the rating this place has expectations were high when I visited last Friday. The welcome we had was one of indifference. One waitress was totally disinterested and grumpy, another was almost equally disengaged and unfriendly, only one waitress was polite vaguely friendly. Out on a date, I'd asked in advance for their most romantic table - they sat us next to a dirty fish tank where the fish looked about to die.

The tapas was decidedly average at best and certainly overpriced given the quality. You'd expect a place with such rave reviews to be buzzing on a Friday night - but given the experience we had it's no surprise that it was as empty as it was. Looking at at some other recent reviews with low starred reviews it seems like our experience there isn't unusual - maybe it was great once, but not anymore.

Absolutely stunning food & amazing service. The waitress and the chef were both lovely, genuine people who truly made sure you had a nice time. Cocktails were beautiful too. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Incredible food and wonderful service, all really fresh. Absolutely get the custard tarts for dessert! Three of us went, had a good mix of veggie and seafood/meat dishes, wine and dessert and came to £40 each including a tip.
