The rosé wine and goat cheese with orange were nice. I ordered the cheese board hoping to have queso fresco, but the waiters didn’t know for sure what’s in the board. It didn’t seem it was there. Lastly the fish tank was 1/3 empty, the water evaporated and nobody fixed it. I love aquariums and was was worried it is neglected. Hope the fish will be ok soon. It would be nice with few tweaks to fix and as we have Portuguese family we would like to visit again, provided it gets better.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
Sadly I can not say the same about my dish. Octopus was hard and chewy. Potatoes weren't great either. It looked like done in a rush and without care. The dish didn't look appealing either. The overall was very disappointing.
12.5% was added to the dish for service charge. Really?
I will give them a second chance and if it was just one off, I'll happily chance this review.
The tapas was decidedly average at best and certainly overpriced given the quality. You'd expect a place with such rave reviews to be buzzing on a Friday night - but given the experience we had it's no surprise that it was as empty as it was. Looking at at some other recent reviews with low starred reviews it seems like our experience there isn't unusual - maybe it was great once, but not anymore.
