The Grasshopper Tattoo & Piercing Studio

Great place! So friendly and professional. I have now had two tattoo's from Takko and they have both been great. The lines have just come out perfect and I am so happy with the result, will absolutely be coming back.

Also a lovely friendly atmosphere!

I visited the Grasshopper Tattoo studio twice, once to get a quote and book an appointment and once to get the tattoo done, I felt the counter staff and the artists were amazing... the price was may be a bit high, but I know you wouldn't want to get a permanent tattoo from someone who may be less skilled and I had a look at the gallery before I went for the quote and I am glad I went ahead with Grasshopper Studio as eventually I felt the price was very reasonable...everyone at the studio were polite, friendly and professional... studio itself was nice and clean... they maintain high hygiene standards at all time...

Larry did my tattoo and he was amazing, he was so patient with everything, he did the stencil at least six times as arm bands are always tricky, and at one point I was OK but Larry wasn't satisfied as he said he would want to improve the placement even more... he came up with a great idea of breaking the band into pieces and joining them up later which worked wonderfully...

Larry is a great artist, the tattoo came out so beautiful... he spent 4.5 hours for a 3.5 hours slot, didn't rush at all, he even postponed his following session just to make sure that he spends enough time on my tattoo... Thanks a lot Larry...

Once done, I was explained the after care thoroughly and was offered a touch up in 6 weeks...

Visited The Grasshopper studio today to have my first ever tattoo. All the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Great vibes and music in the studio.

I was tattooed by Takko. She was lovely and made me feel as ease as soon as I met her. I love my tattoo and I'm already thinking about my next one!

Had 2 separate sessions at Grasshoppers studio in a space of 1,5 month. First one with Kyle (who's sadly not working there anymore) and the most recent with Anaea. They are absolutely great. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone.
The owner runs a great establishment with excellent people from the artists to the front of house. My overall experience was positive and I have already discussed next design, so definitely coming back.

Got my tattoo done by Larry. He was so kind and very fun to talk to, even throughout the inking process. All the staff there were lovely to talk to and willing to share stories.

The grasshopper was recommended to me by a friend, I walked in after work without an appointment and was welcomed warmly. My conch piercing was done by Loren who was kind, approachable, friendly and professional. My piercing is beautiful and I will be back once I figure out what else I want. Please go here for all of your piercings you won't regret it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean environment and nice selection of jewellery, I'm really pleased I walked in!

Went in yesterday for my second tattoo (first one was done in 2019). Larry was brilliant and put me at ease. So easy to talk to and a great sense of humour. I absolutely love my new tattoo, and he even re-touched my older one at no extra cost. Very happy with the service and the end result and will definitely be back for another one at some point!

I first went to the Grasshopper Studio in 2008 for a motorbike tribute for my dad and Tony was lovely and custom designed a back piece. Then in 2015 Kyle freehand designed on the go my full Red Sonja and dragon back piece in one day and completed the outline and detail. Unfortunately life happens and so as soon as lockdown lifted I booked myself back in with Kyle to do the shading. I don't have a high pain threshold but I push through it because it is worth it. The design Kyle created is awesome and he looks after me and we take each session steadily. He and the team are so lovely, welcoming and chatty and play decent music. I still have a few sessions to go and I have other tattoo ideas I will definately get done there.
