Lakeside Taxis

I was quoted a different price than I was given in the taxi. The taxi man happily agreed to the quoted rate. Once I left the taxi, a rude and aggressive lady called me from Lakeside Taxis demanding me to pay the additional costs or never use them again. Very confrontational and abrupt, disgusting service.

Have always had a good experience in the past but tonight I booked on the app, received confirmation and nothing turned up. I phoned and was
Told my taxi had been cancelled as they were over booked. No one had informed me, I hadn’t received a message and I was sat waiting. Really irresponsible and potentially dangerous given I’m waiting outside on the street alone at 11.30 at night

We called this number when we needed a cab immediately due to a train cancellation. A driver showed up right away to pick us up and take us to the next station to catch our connecting train. They were professional, courteous and responsive. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant business. I emailed them from Australia to organise an airport pick up for my mum and they made it so easy and a pleasure to use. Great communication throughout. Nice to have a friendly and reliable driver after a long flight who made my mum feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout. 5 stars

Booked a cab for 6:00. The taxi didn't arrive. When I called them they said it would be 15 mins for one to arrive. I had a train at 6:40 to catch and I was going to miss it. A few minutes later they cancelled my cab. Do not use them if you have anything important to get to.

Shocking and appalling service. Taxi booked 48hrs in advance and reconfirmed several times for a fare of £18.00 arnside to Hincaster for a solo traveler. I reconfirmed the taxi once again from Manchester airport rail station to let them know no problems with train times. I never imagined the company would phone me an hour before arriving, whilst on the train to inform me the price would now be £50.00 if I still wanted a pick up! Totally DISHONEST and Appalling service. Just left me in the lurch knowing I had very little options available as a female solo traveller from abroad. Still can’t get over such awful customer service.

Honestly, used to get taxis all the time but recently booking a taxi is a nightmare. I book on the app, and if I've booked it for work instead of phoning me and informing me they're busy they'll just cancel the booking so a lot of the time I haven't realised they've cancelled and so I'll be late for work. This has happened quite frequently, if they don't cancel the booking i am usually waiting a good half an hour for my taxi to arrive. I don't know what is happening but the service is going downhill fast.

Booked return taxi for New Year’s Eve Arrived promptly on time for both journeys. Very pleased
