69ers Taxi Service Houghton Regis & Dunstable

Phoned to get a taxi , and the service was wonderful up until i had to pay. I have always been able to pay with card before, however when I got taken home and asked to pay with card, the driver phoned someone at the company, and they said i couldn't pay with card only cash. This is very unreasonable as I have always been able to pay with card, as i don't carry cash on me. I had to be driven to a cash point, after I was taken home to pay for my taxi. |The driver was very nice, and is not at fault at all. However as a company its ridiculous to expect customers to only pay with cash, especially in today modern world where card machines are so common. When the taxi driver phoned the company, the woman on the other side blamed me for not specifying that i was paying with card and not cash.This is unrealistic as there is no reason to harass customers over the method of payment. this was unprofessional and stupid. In future the company should give their drivers card machines so that customers don't get embarrassed and made to feel bad.

Booked 69ers for the journey from Heathrow and had excellent service. The flight was late landing resulting in a rush hour journey on a Friday evening. The driver in car 6 went above and beyond expectations. He kept in touch so that we could locate him in LHR, he found the best route to avoid traffic jams, his driving was excellent and he assisted with our luggage (even carrying it to my front door). The car was good too. I will definitely use them again for the next trip.

I use this firm regularly for work. The drivers are always friendly. Car 6 picks me up the most and it is always a good journey. I wish they would take cards and they need to be a little better with time keeping, but mostly a good service.

A nice clean car, help with loading and unloading shopping, unlike 49ers. Very communicative polite drivers. So I will definitely be using them again🙏🏽

Used this company again for a trip from Gatwick Airport on a very snowy day during a train strike. Pleased to see car 6 again with the same driver as last time. Despite the dreadful conditions he got me home quickly and safely. Thank you.

Caught car 6 home after dropping off my car at the garage. The driver was friendly and gregarious and I enjoyed both a smooth ride and good conversation. 10/10, would use again.
