Arrived on time and journey price competitive and met estimate given. No clear guidance on where pick up would be at Derby Station - was texted Registration of car so could see it some way off on its arrival. Travelling with large case and 2 bags. Zero help with these, driver stayed parked in his driving seat. Poor customer service in this regard. So mixed opinion.

The worst taxi experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Rude drivers. Always late. Drivers drive slow deliberately and blame it on the speed limit when no one else on the road is driving that slow. I’m always late for work due to how late these taxis are, and I can only use taxis as I cannot get there any other way. Some drivers act so oblivious, try making out they took the wrong turn when the sat nav is right in front of them and I’ve also given them advance directions, JUST so the fare can increase. what sly and disgusting behaviour. I always prebook taxis and they never show up. Today I was waiting over and hour and I was an hour and half late to work. Will not use again.

Brilliant service. 2 taxi firms couldn't deliver and Albatross came to the rescue. My go to from now on. Excellent staff on phone line and friendly driver.

Terrible service, automatic 5 quid charge additional to the fare for half mile to take a kitten vets which was in a carrier. Should be ashamed of themselves especially with cost of living already soaring. I would use any other firm as they do not charge additional fees for this and are cheaper in general

I’ve been using albatross for a long time aswell as other firms before you. Jamiel was my driver and he was the most lovliest man ever! I usually get nervous with some drivers but he made me feel so comfortable and safe! He also made sure I got into my house safely. He was great! Never had an experience like this before with any other driver, he needs praising as he was honestly so sweet!! Thank you again x

Been using albatross for a good few years now. Got worse and worse! Used to be great but they now employ drivers with a different area licence. IE Gedling drivers. I have been in several taxis recently where they have asked for directions all over the city centre, driven the wrong way and been rude when I have challenged this. Why is a taxi driver asking a customer for directions around the city centre? Also taking more money on the app than stated and charging waiting time when not waiting! I'm reporting this to the council licensing and will be going with a different taxi company from now on! Sick to death of it,

Ordered a 5 seater taxi and was charged £38 to go 8 miles. We called to complain and were told it's mini bus rate. This wasn't stated when we ordered the taxi. It's safe to say we won't be using Albatross again. Robbery.

Can't praise our driver enough who took us all the way from East Midlands Airport to Basildon in Essex in the snow when our plane was diverted from Stansted airport. He went above and beyond expectations and ensured we got home safely in such difficult conditions. Really can't thank him enough. Hope he managed to get home safely too. Will certainly use this taxi company again if we are ever in the area in the future. Thanks again.
