First visit, only two tables occupied so took a chance. Great food, excellent service. And within 30 minutes it was full with a customer patiently waiting for the next free table which is actually a good sign. Will return!

It's a quaint teashop where the staff dress in victorian uniform.
It is rather a small establishment so there isn't much room between tables. It would be a bit tight with prams.
Great for quick dessert or a sandwich, they do have a specials board but the menu isn't extensive.

This establishment does not welcome mother’s with babies in pushchairs! Today I walked my child around to put her to sleep in her pushchair so I could sit and eat my lunch. When I went in the door a member of staff shouted across the cafe to me (cafe full of people looking at me) that if I was to come in I would have to fold my buggy down due to health and safety. I said to her the baby is sleeping I can’t and she said I would have to come back when the baby is awake as the buggy must be folded! She make me feel embarrassed shouting this across a full cafe! There was a place for the buggy to sit out of the way also. I have never been turned away from anywhere due to having my baby with me and made to feel embarrassed at how I was spoken to with a cafe full of people looking up at me. It’s an absolute disgrace to be made to feel this way anyone with a young baby knows how hard it is to get out and be out with a baby without being treated this way!

My Mother in Law and I popped in for a quiet tea and coffee. The cafe is a quaint little place and although there were a few other customers in at the time, it wasn't too full and was rather quiet.

I did find that we tended to speak very quietly (almost under toned) or not at all, as there was very little noise inside the cafe and no quiet music in the background.

The coffee and tea were both very good and the staff were very helpful and polite. A good little place to stop off for a quiet break whilst out shopping,

Back here again today by demand of my son. We love this tea shop, with it's retro style and quiet, peaceful atmosphere. There's a great selection of fine quality teas and cakes or light bites. My son loves this place, so it never fails to disappoint on those rainy Saturday afternoons when he wants to do something indoors.

My husband and I popped into this little tea shop the other day on a trip to Ramsbottom, it's a very nice place to visit if you're ever there.
It has an old fashioned feel to it and the food is great. The staff are friendly and helpful and I'd recommend a visit.
