Felt like I'd ordered the Fischer Price children's meal. The mushrooms were chopped so small 🤏🔍
Would get more food in a greasy spoon cafe for £6.50 with coffee + toast. This came with just toast. Which I didn't have.
The actual food it's self was tasty and cooked well so hence 4 stars.
First coffee tasted burnt. Had a second one to make sure. Was alot better good in fact.
I give the staff 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very friendly and attentive. Just a shame about portion size.

Visited three times with in a month, first time I went was on a Sunday (all day breakfast) 10 o'clock although very busy the atmosphere and the place was immaculate, the staff was very friendly and I was pleased to see staff members from different cultures. I was given a nice clean table, I order the vegetarian breakfast and decaff cappachino, the vegetarian breakfast was a nice and hot, healthy portion and was very tasty, the cappuccino was a great size and I loved the no.84 design on my drink overall great experience in every aspect the waiting time was not at all long considering the rush.
I was shocked to see another family order their food but then refuse it when the staff brought it out claiming they ordered something else when that wasn't the case, the staff however didn't react in a mean or rude way they remained professional to these rude customers.
The second time I visited was for an Afternoon tea and even then the place was busy however the staff still made me feel well looked after. The afternoon tea was very filling the portion was more than enough, the sandwich fillings were so nice and pleasantly surprising as they had a spin on some classic favourites of mine. the desserts were really tasty and looked posh. Already booked another one with a group of friends.
On my third visit I went in for lunch and I order the veggie lasagna, I was given a hefty portion with a posh salad containing multiple different mini sides my favourite was the happy carrot so nice. I also had their rose lemonade very refreshing and not common very happy to see them having exotic drinks. The cakes are also top tier, I believe that one of the staff members bakes them fresh, I had a slice of the coconut and raspberry cake and it was delectable and a great size.

Overall this place is so good and the standard is unlike anywhere else, they have a great variety of drinks and meals for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. I would recommend to all ages and people.

Food was absolutely fabulous, we had afternoon tea, the sandwiches were so fresh - unbelievable and such a variety, homemade scones were to die for and the little sample cakes divine. Loved the mix and match tea service.

My Son Chris booked for brunch here for 4 of us today having been several times before. Charming tea room with old Oak furniture and wonderful antique mirrors lining the wall, and tea served in proper china cups and saucers, love it! Very pleasant and friendly staff, nicely cooked food at reasonable prices, including a wonderful selection of extremely tasty cakes! What more can you ask for? Would highly recommend.

The homemade cakes are amazing. Adrian and the young ladies and young man serving provide a really good friendly personable service. My family and I enjoyed a really well made cooked breakfast. We will be going back again.

This is a quirky, fun place to eat. There's often jazz playing (at an acceptable volume). Food is good and plentiful (make sure you have a good appetite if you order the full English). The owner, Adrian, has accumulated a collection of interesting old china on or in which food and drinks are served. Take-away service is available, and this is recommended if you have a meal that hasn't left enough room for a slice of one of the home-made cakes. The cafe also acts as a hub for community activities - various groups meet there "after hours", including, the last time I looked, a Spanish class and a book club. Talking of books, there are some lying around to browse while you wait for your food.
