The café seems popular, is well-staffed and we had high hopes.
Service was slow, menus not offered on greeting.
Food was generally good - the fresh-made sausage rolls, coffee and scones in particular.
We didn't find the café any more dog-friendly than others we have visited. Doggo didn't want a drink but had some of our sausage roll.
P.S.: our doggo was promised a sausage on entry. Never materialised.
Menu claimed it included juice however it was barely bigger than a shot glass.
Prices seem similar to those in the area but I would have expected a little more. It came on the same size plate as a regular breakfast and strangely came with less mushrooms than the regular. The food was quite nice, I was just left wanting more. Plenty of tea offered. Also the orange juice wasn't particularly nice. Odd choice to give apricot jam with the toast.
I also feel that when you're spending that much, tomato sauce should really be offered by the bottle. And it should really be Heinz. Or at least plenty of sachets left on the table. In this case it was Hellmann's sachets and we were given 4 for 3 people.
Finally, the toilets could do with an engaged sign as multiple people tried the door whilst others were in.
A café not to be missed, dog friendly and such a happy place to visit.
There was nothing missed out even sliced sausage for the dogs.
Attention to detail when ordering food was excellent and food was delicious.
Staff are so friendly and I would definitely recommend and visit again.
Highly recommended even worth a detour just to go..
Services was lovely and friendly. Tea and cake really good. Dog friendly
