Absolutely amazing scones and jam and cream. Dad had a ploughman's lunch that would have fed several ploughmen! Staff and surroundings lovely. They also have a craft s cation. I bought this little cutie.

Gorgeous afternoon tea in a beautiful, vintage tearoom. Everything from the vintage teapots, cups/saucers and tiered cake stand was wonderful. The food was divine and the scones were the biggest and most delicious I've ever tasted. The staff are friendly and very attentive! Thank you for such a wonderful tea experience. We will definitely be back.

Best scones! We had the plum and cheese scones in this occasion. We look forward to rhubarb season and the equally excellent rhubarb scones!

Really lovely, great service and nice menu. Really appreciated the fact there was vegan cake, ice cream and even a cream tea option! My vegan child was very happy. Will definitely return for a ploughman's. Great loose leaf tea selection too. All round great little tea room and a very picturesque area.

My daughter and I went for afternoon tea as a late birthday treat.
I had brie with wild cranberry sandwich, rhubarb scone with rhubarb jam and clotted cream and a huge slice of raspberry cake (which I had to take home as I was stuffed 😋) four cups of tea in a proper tea cup and saucer.
My daughter had a BLT sandwich, plain scone with jam and clotted cream and a caramel cake (took home too as stuffed) also four cups of tea too! Price per person £14.50. Most places I looked at wanted £25 per person, and I would not have eaten most of the sandwiches on the menu from the other places and to be honest I could not justify spending that amount!
So I was over the moon with THE STEYNING TEA ROOM. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I also bought my Mum a take away rhubarb scone with rhubarb jam and clotted cream.
I will be back for more 100%

A fantastic hidden gem at the end of Steyning High Street. Went for afternoon tea which consisted of tea or coffee. A sandwich, a massive scone with cream and jam and a slice of cake (all home made and fresh). The furniture is all old and well as the plates which are a real mismatch but that adds to the charm and experience.
Staff really friendly and helpful and boxes provided if you can't eat it all.
No on site car park but several a few minutes walk away.
Highly recommended

Really lovely little tea room. We went on a day trip from Brighton with our babies and had sandwiches and cake, all delicious. The staff were all very friendly and the place had a nice vibe about it.
