Taste Of Thai Restaurant

Great little place for lunch or dinner. Set menu at lunchtimes which is varied and plentiful. Lovely fresh ingredients. Good selection of drinks. Great value for money. Staff are attentive and friendly. Our party was very impressed and we will be visiting again 🙂

Ate here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely delicious. We had one of the set menus and the food was exceptional for the price. Service and staff were polite and very attentive. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent dinner. We went for the vegetarian set menu for the two of us, and it was an absolute treat! Deep-fried aubergine was delicious. Plenty of food and the staff were happy to box up the remaining to take home. Would visit again.

Disappointed. Travelled a considerable distance as a friend (local to Buckshaw) saw the restaurant was empty on a Tuesday night and had recommend it to us a few times now. Google listing said restaurant closes at 10pm. We got there fire 20.46 precisely. Got turned away as they close the restaurant at 21:00 not 22:00 as listed online. Moreover, the kitchen had already closed (apparently).

Fair that a booking would’ve saved the hassle but we were already out and didn’t really think of booking ahead as it wan an impromptu plan. Ideally wouldn’t be an usse if they didn’t make up opening and closing times.

Sadly won’t be calling again as it’s not feasible for one and we are kind of put off by the lack of consideration and professionalism being a restaurant.

Fantastic service and lovely food. We visited as a couple on a Saturday evening and the staff were extremely attentive. Food was delicious and much better than other local Thai restaurants we have visited. Would highly recommend the red thai curry or the massaman and the pad thai noodles were amazing.

Busy Saturday evening but managed to get a table without a booking. Went for the set menu for ease as we were feeling lazy. Mixed starter arrived very quickly and was delicious, mains were generous and tasty, if a little "anglicized". Unfortunately it seemed the staff were either new or reluctant, as the unsolicited comments from our waitress included the table numbers not making sense and the dishes being hard to carry. After finishing our mains, we then waited over 35 minutes before giving up on dessert or drinks, and asked for the bill. Another 10 minutes later we went to pay at the bar/entrance and explained we only received two of the three courses included in the set menu. While the manager apologised, we were still charged the full price. In short, nice restaurant, needs more staff.

Used to be amazing and favourite venue to eat here but the standard of food, decor, furniture and everything else has pretty much dropped in quality. After the last meal we had I won't be bothering to go back sadly.
